Our AD said the field will look the same as all other weeks becaus we have another home game next week. If it wouldn't be for that he said they would have possibly painted the entire field as if it was SC's field.

Think LSU will write something in the endzone about the flooding like ASU did back during Katrina? Not sure how big an undertaking that would be.
Its been stated that there will be nothing extra painted in the endzones since we have another home game next weekend.
Cant find the article.

Might as well break out the yellows...
I would love to see those gold jerseys and white helmets jerseys come out once in a while for a nonconference game, or an SEC opponent's "white out" game (like this week).

The subject stat is wrong. We wore them vs Mississippi State in 2007. This is the first time we've worn them at home in a while.
That was in Starksville in 2007.

The NCAA changed the rule in 1995 to allow the home team to wear what they wanted if the visiting team gave permission.
Someone beat me to it, but yeah, that was part of Dinardo's "Bring Back the Magic" tour.
Of course, Vandy had to be the first A-holes to deny us our white jerseys at home in 1996. (LSU W, 35-0)
But they were still bitter about losing Jerry to us.
I can laugh at that now.
We allowed Oregon St. to wear white here in 2004 (LSU W, 22-21)

The SEC took it a step farther in 1997, giving the home team choice of uniforms and the visiting team being required to wear the opposite.
1999. Spurrier pouted that LSU fans had been mean to them after the 1997 game. Spurrier said no to white, LSU said he was a jerk, Kramer stepped in and said home team calls it.

He edited the subject posters corrected. It did say for an SEC game, not "home game".

I call BS.
LSU wouldn't let me bring my Spurrier dummy that me and some friends stayed up all night making, complete with hangman's noose, into the stadium.
But they did hang him outside the student gate.

What are the other teams that wear white at home?

True however if they tried to demand home uniform choice they would have looked like massive dicks.
I don't think this was an option since USC is the home team and therefore got to make the call.

Haven't you heard? It's not a home game for LSU.

I know Georgia Tech used to wear white at home but not sure if they still have that going. Don't believe anyone else does this.

GOOD BULL LSU
Alleva also said on radio that they plan to make a pretty significant donation on top of that after the game.

This is not a home game. SC is the home team so wouldn't they get to pick the jerseys and being a day game, wouldn't white be more comfortable?

Alleva said it on AFR Wednesday.

This is not some grand gesture. It's SC's home game, of course they keep the profit. It's also not "going to help South Carolina." It's the same revenue the USC athletic department would have received from a true home game, it's not going to help any flood victims. LSU has be far beyond accommodating, which is great, but the game profits are not a donation. It would more closely be stealing if LSU kept the funds than it is a gift as some are making it out to be.

I believe Alleva has said he wants to make a donation from the athletic dept.

Isn't it still technically considered a home game for USC? Obviously it's not but officially speaking it is right?

The last time the Tigers wore purple in an SEC game at Tiger Stadium was Nov. 5, 1994 in a 35-17 loss to Alabama.
LSU fricked
We can only hope.
