Unlikely. I know MIzzou fans are hot & bothered about Lock & his potential, however I doubt a first time starter is going to roll into WB and not get rattled.
He has potential, but so did Jeremy Johnson...

The game is in Columbia, North....

Why so salty? Towles is a talented player. I never said otherwise. I gave him credit for making throws. He played a great game and that's why Yall won. I never said you guys were lucky. We didn't play well enough to win. It's that simple.

You are a Georgia fan so that goes without saying.

In this case it is probably true

The defense is easily good enough to win the East

UK almost put 400 yards on you.Are you gonna trot out your defensive stats from Ark State,U Conn and SE Missouri?
Honostly not trying to troll and I realize you have some talent but there are some very good defenses in East this year.
Hell, watch the Vandy Ole Miss replay and get back to me.

Picked up our call for cover 2 (which is where 95% of their big plays came against) and still held them under 400 yards and 21 points.
Wasn't our best game. We missed several TFLs where we had the guy hemmed in behind the line and couldn't get him on the ground.
We'll play better.

Possibly throws the East race up in the air if he's anywhere better than Mauk.
East will be between UGA and UF.

He makes us better. IMO there is no doubt about that. Strangely, guys always seem to have drop issues catching passes from Mauk. I think we'll see our WR hands improve dramatically with Lock throwing them catchable passes.

Have no doubt and you guys are always solid when it comes to developing players.

Knowing how some teams choke later in the season, anything is possible. How do you think we got to Atlanta last year?
We have the right QB leading the offense now. Should be able to sustain drives and even might score some points for a change. This will help keep the defense off the field for most of the game and give them something to play for besides thinking the game is all on their shoulders.
Lock is not your usual backup QB. I am fully confident he would have unseated Mauk next spring anyways. But we'll see this weekend right?
