He was onto something good at Tennessee

He was recruiting well (well, he had that one good class).
Florida and Georgia both hit a tailspin in 2010. It is not inconceivable that he could have done well at Tennessee.

It really is....he needs to STFU, mature, and learn from the the best CEO coach about what it takes to run a program. The best thing Kiffin can do is let his play calling do his talking...if Bama rides to another NC on his play calling, opportunities will open up, especially with Saban vouching for him

Kiffin will be Dabo's OC when he comes to UA. imho

Tennessee would probably be better off with him than what they have now. He's the only coach at UT in the last 7 years that finished with at least a .500 conference record.
With that said, Alabama can do better when the time comes to replace Saban.

You want Dabo as your HC?
Bama is going 9-3 this year. One of those losses is against the Swamp Kittens. Book it. Mark it. Take it to heart.

Talk about douchebag central.

Dabo may be the worst big school head coach in America.

No I think Dabo might be better than Bert.

This is worse than saying you'd want Muschamp as a head coach- at least Boom only failed once and had one good season.

I'm fine with Kiffin in his role. I'm not so sure about HC, but he's great as an OC. I didn't like his play calling against Ohio state, but considering that was our last talented offense under Saban, particularly the OL, we still set a lot of records. Without Coop, it may have been a disaster, but since we still won the SEC, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
This year, it'll be very interesting. Bama will have a much better OL, but uncertainty at QB. Though As new QB has worked out well for us. We don't have an established sec receiver. But we've had lights out recruiting, and have multiple five stars ready to catch passes. They don't all be a bust.
Considering Bama, without a doubt, has the hardest schedule (thanks, Birmingham), I still feel very good going into the season. We could legitimately win the NC or have three losses, neither would be surprising. It's a damn good situation to be in.

And on Dabo... I wouldn't be happy if he got the Bama job anytime soon. But at worst, he could be our Ron Zook. Doesn't win enough to keep the job, but brings in a tons of talent, for the next guy to win.

Amari Cooper sure made him look good. They got a playmaker like that this year?

Don't know how much power he has at Bama but someone sure called a horrible game against Ohio St.

1. He has a head coach that will not let the assistants talk to the press. So he cant really stick his foot in his mouth.
2. He coaches top flight talent year in and year out.
3. Team has great leadership run by a proven winner.
Whats not to like about that deal? frick being a HC. do what you love and profit.
I agree with you, but sadly I think he leaves after this year. If we have a good year of offensive production he will be crowned as a genius because of the shitty qb situation that we have. Barnett is likely to follow him too.
