How do you place hate on him for that? He did what his coaches asked of him....and it was pretty damned unrealistic for most to do that.

...especially with incompetence from Nutt and the S&C program.

I agree that his dad should have STFU.

You don't think that has anything to do with coaching?

Hell...they made all returners practice catching kicks by already holding a football in each hand so it taught them how to catch with the front of their shoulder pads.

Yes..you are supposed to trap the ball into your pads...but you still have to have soft hands and what it did was cause the ball to smack against the pads before their hands could trap it.

Just one of the many bone-headed practicing techniques that Nutt tried to introduce. And I don't understand why this particular one was introduced....they didn't practice that way his first two seasons.

Pat Patterson is one of my least favorite rebels ever.

Snoop Brassel is up there as well....go ahead and include every other idiot that we had to kick off the team.

...basically...most of that 2009 class is my least favorite Rebels ever.

Speaking of Neat, what are our expectations for an improved return game this year? Are we sticking with Pack?

Carlos Davis leads with Pack right behind him. Tony Bridges is another option

I've heard that we all should be very happy that Carlos Davis is back. Dude is apparently really good.

Sure some. But it also had to do with the fact that I remember him and Nathan Stanley ALWAYS coming to class stoned as hell and remember while working an event once they snuck off in the woods to go light up.

For that and the mistakes on the field by Neat is what makes me hate that fricker as a rebel.

No one is giving Nutt a pass. Most don't like him either.

I've been told by my minions for two years now that Carlos Davis was a bad motherfricker when it comes to returning the ball... I really hope he pans out

Has there been any word on how Armani Linton or Ross Donnely has looked so far? Haven't heard anything on either.

I assumed Donnely would RS, but weren't there talks of Linton possibly playing this year when we signed him?

We're pretty deep, so not sure how much Linton plays. I think he does get some PT to build for the future though. Maybe to take over at a safety spot next year.

Donnelly is all redshirt.

From the lack of hearing anything on either I assume they both RS. Just wondering if anybody has heard anything on how they look? Are we still excited about them or do they have a long ways to go to contributing?

So long as he doesn't flip them back and forth every possession until the Bama game, I will be happy.

He did say he will let all of them play the first game but I think it's Kelly's job to lose!
