Dak weight loss

I am just curious to ask these questions to everyone. How much weight has this kid lost? He seems to have been built like a RB already, so why slim down? He was already hard to take down, but his weight loss may make him more elusive and shifty. There could be a possibility of Miss St running some fast tempo plays, but who knows...... What do you guys think?

According to someone who claims they asked him, he didn't lose a single pound, just some body fat. He does look leaner though, so hopefully that helps with pocket evasiveness and roll out plays.

Perhaps he tested positive for supplements after the guy in Texas who was supplying them got busted by the feds and now Dak can no longer use them. No longer able to build up the muscle like in prior years.
I am not gonna say anything definite like "sources say"that is what happened but it is a distinct possibility (however mathematically infinitesimal). It might even need to have its own thread titled "as the delta burns".

He'll pass the ball more than he did last year.

Mullen has a history of injuring his QBs. Wouldn't expect Dak to last the year.

What quarterbacks has he injured? Russel is the only QB I can think of getting hurt and that was because he threw an int and tried arm tackling the guy.
Seems like you just pulled that out of your arse and are hoping to God Dak won't make it the year.

I would say most starting QB's get dinged up during the course of the season. It's a tough position. Especially if you are a running QB.

Relf didn't get injured in 2010 against LSU?
Relf didn't get a mild concussion against Alabama in 2011?
Russell didn't miss a game in 2013 due to an ankle injury?
Prescott didn't get injured in 2013 causing Damian Williams to start against Ole Miss (while also missing the previous two games)?

What does this have to do with the coach?

According to his interview, and his listed weight on the official roster, he hasn't lost a pound. I agree that he looks leaner, I'm assuming he's just trimmed up a little.

I will take that to mean he will be running for his life this year.
