You go and grab the Cal QB
Who says it will be an upgrade?

He will just hire another yes man in Heath Schroyer and they will all just listen to what bossman Landry says… pathetic

That is all…
Totally forgot to link it in OP. It’s up now though!
Is this site new? First time hearing about it, but I’m also not a gambler. No clue how it works but seems to just fetch data from multiple sources and web? Hell, let’s test it by saying Pete Carroll on TD and start multiple threads to see if his name pops up.

Has Lanning currently at 50%, Kiffin at 30%, Shep at 20%. You have to click more markets to see all these names because by defaults it just shows a few names. Last night it had Saban soaring to like 20% but now he’s back down to 11%.

Still pretty interesting Lanning names still sticking around.

We found out on Nov 29 after ND was 11-1 and still had a chance for the natty race, that BK was taking the LSU job. Regular season was over but so much left standings wise.

ND on Dec 5 (2 weeks after BK left) found out they didnt make the top 4 needed to continue for the CFB championship, but BK was long gone.

Ole Miss’ remaining schedule includes USCe (Who lost a heartbreak to Bama last week), The Citadel, Gators, then Miss State. Ole Miss sitting pretty with 1 loss and now playoff landscapes include 12 teams, but OM drops 1 game and we could know pretty quickly what Lane does.

We’ll just say he was thinking about the LSU job and was checked out lol
Get Lane out of the playoff picture early and expedite the decision he has to make (Either stay at Ole Miss or leave to LSU/UF/Other).

Tulane winning today keeps them at 7-1 and 4-0 in league play.

Saban- HC, Mike McDaniel- OC, Fickell- DC

I have said this before and I will say it again…

MAKE IT HAPPEN!
No more CEO types. Sure Kelly holds a playsheet and is involved in offense but he cant call it on his own. LSU needs a coach who is a master for one side. Big name examples so far all in top 10 include coaches who either call the plays themselves or are very involved (Lanning, Cignetti, DeBoer, Elko, Smart, Key, Lane) to name a few.

LSU isnt in a position to poach someone from that list (Well, I dont think we are) but could see LSU go hire a coordinator whether from CFB or NFL remains to be seen. Would also save some money because wouldnt have to go get 2 coordinators + a HC.

Safeties will call the plays for defense

Posted by 7Tiger7 on 10/24/25 at 5:28 am
Interesting that Kelly mentioned that. Does Whit normally call them for us? Him being out against Vandy and someone else calling them can explain why defense was out of position and lost a bunch.

I wonder if Perk had to call them against Vandy and if that had anything to do with his abysmal play. Possibly put too much on his plate. Kelly also mentioned Tylen Singleton will also have a role LB this game.
I have seen this mentioned a couple times on the board and honestly, would not be a bad idea at all… Sure, he’s on the older side and has some baggage (Who doesnt at this point), but he could provide a stable couple of years.

He’s still sharp enough to develop QBs and has had Arkansas offense play pretty decent. I doubt he would job hop for another OC job (UNLV-> A&M but Elko didnt retain him there so he went to the Hogs) and his HC aspirations would also be limited due to his age for some. Could provide LSU a veteran and stable OC for a couple of years.

HC- Saban, DC- Fickell, OC- Mike McDaniel

That would be a helluva staff and would win instantly. Saban is retired but LSU still close to his heart, Fickell and McDaniel both potentially getting fired.

Surround those three with recruiters and NIL, would be national contenders first year.

re: So is Darius Gray back in play?

Posted by 7Tiger7 on 10/13/25 at 1:56 pm to
I think Gray himself said that SC Oline coach being fired has opened up his options or something like that…

Definitely flippable but bigger questions are, how many other teams will he look at or what teams will circle back and bring new bargaining chips to the table?
