How does mizzou return more experience than ut and Uga?
Experience in winning games and the division when it counts, UGA returns guys who have continually shite the bed and UT guys who have never really excelled. Mizzou returns 12 starters om total, hardly a gutted roster.

The Big 6 is dead men walking.
It's only a matter of time til someone crashes the club.

Hansborough is back as is 4 of 5 starting OL, who on here last year besides Mizzou fans had heard of Sasser???
I should have known Hansborough was back and I'm sure I've posted about it before. Sorry I missed that. And I'd heard of Sasser. He was really good. That doesn't mean Brown or Moore can't get there, but that combined with Mauk not looking great last year makes me more doubtful than I would have been previously.
The schedule definitely sets up favorably for y'all, and I wouldn't be shocked if y'all did win the east again. It's just that as of now, it would be overly impressive to me if y'all did that after losing so many talented players and inserting people in a lot of positions who don't have a ton of experience.

Could the 34-0 beat down UGA administered to mizzou last yr be the exact reason?

Respect for Mizzou. Texas A&M to Mexico league.

Florida is still running.

Exactly, Mizzou fans are quick to throw around their impressive record versus the SECw.. which is fine until you realize they've yet to play Alabama, Auburn, or LSU during the regular season.
Not really their fault, but you can't really scream-post about not getting respect until you've at least shown that mastery of the SECw against the bigg'uns.
Missouri will probably win the East again, but not because they're better than UGA, UT or even SC... Their schedule is just so easy.. They have 3-4 weeks to gain momentum before they even play a team with a pulse. And when they win the East again, the best thing they can do to shut everybody up about their schedule is to win the conference.

Yes. Your blowout of Mizzou last year was a sign of ageless and permanent dominance of our football program. While the blowout you experienced against a 7-5 Florida was a huge fluke.

I've read the OP several times trying to figure out where UF comes in. No luck yet.
But I do think UGA beating mizzou 34-0 just might be relevant when pondering "why is UGA getting more respect than Mizzou"....which is what I thought this thread was about.
Indiana

At this point....
Who gives a frick?
It simply doesnt matter what we do, we don't have the history or the recruiting stars to get it. Winning is far down the list of things that gain you "respect". It's too simply explained away by flukes, easy schedules, etc.
You know what though. It doesn't matter one bit. We'll keep vastly over performing preseason projections and most opposing fans will keep coming up with reasons why it's not worthy of their respect.
Keep it.

I expect UGA to win the East this year. We're due for a bit of an off year. I'm expecting 9-3ish. But your point that UGA demolished Mizzou last year as a reason Mizzou isn't getting respect may be accurate. And shows why perception doesn't count for a lot.

Respect is earned brutha. The Cocks earned it. If you can't see how getting frog stomped by the two best teams you played, plus Indiana, might give one pause when considering the status of your program then you guys are further away than I thought.

That's a big reason. Losing at home to a 4-8 Indiana team is another. Also, they haven't beaten a top 10 team in forever, which is yet another reason. Mizzou would earn more respect if it beat some top teams rather than win division titles against easy schedules. Not that its a bad thing, but whining about no respect is laughable. They haven't beaten anyone.

1. They will/are better than any A&M ever!!
EVER!!
EVER!!

bullshite. The Cocks have no respect. They've basically been left for dead by this board and the media after one down season. Had that been Georgia, Florida, LSU etc that wouldn't be the talk and surely you know that. That's why the "talk" and "respect" mean less than dick. Helmet teams will perpetually receive the benefit of the doubt and those that aren't...won't. It is what it is. Thankfully, we still get to play the games. So while the media, fans on this board, and anyone else can suck off UGA, UT and UF it won't mean shite once the pads get put on.
Again, if you don't "respect a team that's finished above you two straight years then that's on you. Have at it. Like I said, it doesn't matter what we do. We could win the NC next year and the entire country would be "down". I'd take it, and not give a single frick. Just like the last two seasons.

Who the frick is whining about it?
I see a bunch of Mizzou fans telling Yall to shove your respect up your arse. Don't see much whining though.

Cocks won 43 games in 4 yrs, beating #1 bama and many top 10 teams along the way. You don't see a difference?
Anyway, I'd say good luck but you still don't play AU, Bama or LSU....you've already had some good luck.
You may very well win the East but you got no shot whatsoever in Athens. You can book that.
