This type of comment implies talent does not matter. Not even 808 is dumb enough to believe that.

I always love Florida fans on last years game talking some sort of super defense they had. When teams are winning 42-0 they are generally running a pretty generic offense.

You are right. Our losses were to crappy Indiana and an overrated Georgia team that lost to South Carolina and was blown out by Florida.

Miss me with that "respect is earned" bull shite. It's given. What exactly did Georgia do last year to earn this respect?

Uga Beat 4 ranked teams by an average of 37-14 last year. Respect was earned in the field.

Yes, but also lost to two unranked teams. As for the 4 you beat...we've already established Mizzou isn't any good, Clemson didn't beat anyone all year so they aren't either, same for Louisville and Auburn finished with the most losses of any ranked team.

Is this how you do it?

Mizzou earned my respect last year. Y'all won the east for the 2nd year in a row, and finished out the season strong when there were 3 conference games you had the opportunity to give us the East title.

I don't think I would call us overrated though. We lost 3 games, easily could have won two of those, and had a couple quality blow outs including Mizzou, Clemson (4th quarter at least) and Auburn, and finished strong against Louisville.

Mizzou's inability to beat good teams doesnt help with their perception, and they don't return a ton of starters like UT or stars like UGA.

Lol.. what

Top 25 wins 13' & 14'

@ #7 GEORGIA
vs #22 FLORIDA
@ #24 OLE MISS
vs #19 TEXAS A&M
vs #17 OK. STATE
@ #13 USC
@ #24 TEXAS A&M

It just amazes me how everyone thought they would get rolled on when they moved to the SEC, and regardless of them winning the east back to back and a handful of great teams people still don't respect.

Where did the finish though?
@ UGA - NR
vs. UF - NR
@ OM - NR
vs. A&M - 19
vs. OSU (neutral) - 17
@ USC - NR
@ A&M - NR

That's two post-season ranked teams in the last two years. I've given Mizzou more credit than most, but using their strength of schedule is not going to be the way to get that credit.

What matters is this:

1. pollsters considered Each of those 4 teams to be top 25 teams, and beating the crap out of them earned uga well deserved respect despite those 2 losses.

2. Mizzou had zero wins of that nature, and had by far the worst loss to Indiana so respect was withheld due to that.

Surely this makes sense to you at this point?

It's great that you are bragging about beating UF's 4-8 team. Quality win there. Respect.

Yes. Your blowout of Mizzou last year was a sign of ageless and permanent dominance of our football program. While the blowout you experienced against a 7-5 Florida was a huge fluke.

Yes, Florida put one on us last year.

But the same could be said about us on you, Indiana on you and Alaabama on you. You tell us. Which was more flukey? What a Florida team did to us or what Indiana, Georgia and Alabama did to you.

What you've done since being in the SEC is impressive. And,, in 2013 you had an excellent team. A very impressive team.

Last season though....not so impressive. And we just think you have lost an awful lot to keep at the level you have been at. Only time will tell. You've done it before, and you can do it again.

So we are overrated because we lost to South carolina and Florida. What does it make you since you lost to Indiana and an overrated UGA team?

Were all these wins from 2013? If not maybe the only one that wasn't was A&M? I give Missouri all the credit in the world for 2013. What you guys did was very impressive. You had an excellent team. I was less impressed with last years team, though.

I will say this, though. Pinkel does more with what is perceived as lesser talent than any coach in the SEC.
