Maybe 10 years ago. Have you seen this board? Vol fans would flip shite if they win the East this year.

Yeah but the honest, mature ones wouldn't be buying SECE t-shirts. The fools here would indeed go nuts.

We won the East, we won the East, respect us, praise us garbage. It really would be unbearable Luckily, we won't have to worry about that.

I am the idiot who apparently doesn't understand college football. Again explain why you are bragging about your defense in a game you trailed 42-0? Hard to get total offensive yards when your team keeps turning it over and we keep scoring but again nothing to do with our defense it was your coach. Guess in the big 12 we learned to shut up when we got our asses handed to us.

So that time A&M beat us 77-0 we should have bragged about the positives and put all the negatives solely on our coach. At least I am starting to learn SEC excuse making.

I think the theory is that Missouri has been winning by default because the East is down, in general. I mean, let's face it, Missouri hasn't been the most competitive Eastern representative in SEC history. The best they can claim is that they hung with Auburn for 2 & 1/2 quarters.

So how bad is Georgia then that they can't beat the down east teams? They are the ones who want to claim both football superiority because they beat us head to head, that the east is down so our other wins don't mean anything, oh and ignore they lost to two down east teams.

Who the frick bragged about the defense in that game?

Again, who is bragging? And, while you are at it, is the coach that lost the game an idiot and was he fired?

Are dense or being obtuse on purpose?

I give Mizzou all the respect in the world. Pinkel took what he had and fielded a team that made it to Atlanta two years in a row.

When a team can come into the conference and win the division over a tenured coach (Mark Richt) and an old timer/legend coach (Steve Spurrier) and beat out UT/UF/UK/Vandy then they deserve respect.

frick all the folks that say they won in a down SECEast. They took advantage of the situtation before them and capitalized on it for two years.

Boxer rumble or something like that with a fla icon next to his name called it a fluke. Sorry but my definition of fluke is luck. 42-0 is an asskicking in the making not dumb luck. Then another fla poster brought up 120 yards of offense, not me. Why bring that up when you got your arse kicked?

He didn't say fluke. He said flukie an in strange things happened in a game that don't regularly happen in the same game.

I think your drawers are twisted a little on this one.

No one was bragging unless we in the South have a vastly different definition of what bragging means.

I didn't see any bragging. You did. Weird.

Well I guess we don't misuse the term fluke up here in the far north city of St. Louis.

It was brought up because you accused someone of bragging about our defense when that didn't happen. This is silly. I'm done with this. I can't make sense of why your Yankee behind is so triggered.

Carry on with your lovely day. I hope it gets better from here and you'll not be so upset.

Like I said last year, and I think its still Killz sig line, Mizzou was a zombie last year. No matter what you did to them they just kept shambling to the East championship.

Other then the Indiana loss, which wasn't in conference, Mizzou beat every team they were supposed to beat. For all its talent, and Georgia had a ton of talent last year, they had games where they just collapsed out of the blue against teams they should have whipped.

I respect Pinkel and Mizzou for keeping their focus up, taking advantage of any break they were given, and not taking any games off down the stretch. That is how you win divisions, no matter which school we are talking about.

Mizzou's gonna get a massive dose of reality when UT and UF get back to normal at the same time Bama/ AU/ LSU roll onto their schedule.

I'm not being cute, with UGA playing Bama and AU, this may very well be the last time Mizzou has any chance at the Dome, at least for a long, long time.

Sucks that with fla and ut down it was USC and Mizzou that were making most of the championship games the last couple of years. Will really suck for you when the teams you lose to when they are down are back up. If Mizzou will start finishing 4th I guess you guys will be 5th or 6th?

Answer me this. If you had your choice between beating #3 FL, UG, aTm, etc. or an unranked version of those which would you prefer.

A win is a win. Let's not go there. I get that.

Which would be more satisfying if you were honest with yourself?

I want Mizzou to be ranked #9 when we beat them and not unranked for instance. I want AL to be #1 and take them down. For me personally, there's not as much satisfaction in taking down UT lately. Does that make any sense?

Lol...no, we won't be behind you guys. As we've proven, we have more than enough to beat anyone at any time. So we'll still hang around the top 10/ 10 win seasons per usual. Missouri will simply get another beat down or two.

You think I'm flaming. I'm not. It will happen.

Hey the consensus here is that fla and ut are down so I will agree. So the question again is what does that make Georgia if they can't still get past non power teams like Missouri and South Carolina when you guys are down?

I agree 100%.

If the teams in the East are in coaching transition, and shitting all over themselves and can't stay focused to compete, that isn't Mizzou's fault they seized the opportunity and capitalized on it.

Mizzou has never won anything of significance. When they do they will be more respected.
