Doesn't Arkansas have a whole new WR group?
No. The only one we lost from last year is Demetrius Wilson. Hatcher and Cornelius are both back and we added JUCO Dominique Reed. They'll be our top three. Then 4* JoJo Robinson who redshirted last year will also be in the mix.

Isn't this list just naming the 30 QBs who returned after playing in a bowl game in 2014?
I mean, there were 39 bowls last season and (at least for the SEC) every single SEC team that made a bowl and returns a QB is represented in this list (Allen, Dobbs, Prescott, Mauk).
I would imagine there are very few returning bowl starters that aren't represented on this list.

Isn't Treon Harris back at Florida?

Good catch, I didn't even think about Florida making a bowl.
To be complete, I just looked up the SEC bowl schedule and realized that LSU (A. Jennings) and Texas A&M (K. Allen) were also left off of the list.
Here's Allen's stats compared to the three SEC guys left off of the list (even with Driskel):
Brandon Allen - 12/23 (52%) 160 yards 2 tds
Anthony Jennings - 7/14 (50%) 151 yards 1 td
Kyle Allen - 22/35 (63%) 294 yards 4 tds 1 int
Treon Harris - 5/11 (45%) 123 yards 2 tds 1 int
(Jeff Driskel - 8/17 (47%) 48 yards)
Honestly, I'm surprised Kyle Allen isn't on this list as well.

I don't think I have heard many saying that?
Most people think he is a non-factor. Won't win games for them, also won't cost them either. One of those +1 -1 = 0 type things.

BA will be all-sec when the dust settles

I think Bama could win the west with him.

So, in Allen's best season, he lost six times. Reality check coming your way

He's not gonna be our starter.

Brandon Allen is... well he is one of those QBs. Under Chaney his flaws were more then evident. He doesn't go through his progression reads very well and he has a noted tendency to throw high when the game is on the line.
Chaney's tendency to freak out and go full on Air Raid down the stretch of close games only excarebated the problem.
What Allen does well is roll out, scramble for first downs, and stay on his primary read and wait for them to get open. He's learned to throw the ball into the cheap seats rather then throw an interception and he is a gutsy kid that is willing to take a shot and get back up.
The thing is... what we know about Brandon Allen from the last few years is only sort of applicable this year. Enos has a history of making his QBs efficient and putting them in the right position to make plays based on their athletic ability. Allen may very well thrive under his tutelage and go bonkers this year.
We won't know until we know.

He's very average. Weak arm, not mobile. He may not "hold you back" but he certainly isn't going to win anything for you.

He's not necessarily holding you back if your goal is 9-3...

Nothing wrong with being a game manager. Bama won a lot of championships with game managers at quarterback.
