Is Trump really leading the GOP candidates right now?

CNN is fapping so hard to this. Maybe the Republican party will just put itself out of its misery after the beatdown next year. Completely clueless right now. My God.

he is this year's sarah palin. With a ton of candidates thrown in, yeah he is leading. The problem is that he is so radical that he can't rally the whole party to win. If they didn't learn from Palin a few years ago then this country deserves to burn under another liberal president. Palin got McCain back in the race but would never be able to help him win.

Yeah, but didn't Huckabee or Santorum lead in the early 2012 primary season? I know it was someone that faded pretty quickly, like Trump will unless he goes 3rd party.

I know it wasn't Huckabee. He is too far right to have a chance even though I do like him the most of the real candidates this time or the last time he ran.
I honestly have no idea who I would vote for at this point, hell, I might would vote for Trump under the assumption that he wouldn't put up with a lot of bullshite day in and day out.

I give up hope for this country if the republicans nominate Trump

I don't think anyone sees Trump as presidential material. He's just saying the things that the right wants to hear. Most of the R candidates are chicken shits and won't take a hard, verbal stance on important issues and Trump will. It's July 2015 and a long way to the primary. Trump's behavior will bait another candidate or two into saying what needs to be said and those candidates will rise to the top.
While it's not popular because of his name, Jeb is going to win the primary. The only thing he has in common with his dad and brother are name and party. He's a proven leader and Florida prospered under his leadership. Having married a Mexican woman and embracing that culture, he's popular with Hispanics (which is huge, Hispanics are a bigger voting block than African Americans). He's also the only R candidate that have the Clinton's concerned.

I agree the Trumpster won't win the nomination but he is talking about things that most are afraid to touch. This is a good thing.
Illegal aliens, ISIS and career politicians all need to be addressed. Lawbreakers need to go to jail and that includes those in elected office.

When I look at Trump, Obama, Clinton, etc and sit back and ponder, I just have a hard time believing that out of 330 million people, this is the best we have to pick from to lead us...
Just makes me want to crawl in a hole somewhere and hide for a while...

Trump won't win the Republican nomination.
However, he will run third party with his own money and steal enough votes so that the Democrats win in a landslide.

I come from a family with a proud martial history and was taught to believe firmly in "American Exceptionalism". However, looking at who our elected officials are, across the board, it's depressing. For the first time in my life I've had thoughts of becoming an expat. It's not because I think "the Republicans are evil", or "the Democrats are communists"; it's because they're all fricking retarded and there is not one single candidate who isn't lying through their teeth or pandering to the extremist nut jobs on both ends of the spectrum.

For Republicans, the two dangers are:
• Trump runs as an independent.
• Trump gets some risky concessions from the party in exchange for not running--whatever those concessions might be.
Either way, the Repubs appear to have as much chance of winning the 2016 election as the Titanic has of steaming into New York harbor.

I agree with those who are saying that Trump will guarantee a win by the Dems. I think the only effective strategy by the Pubs at this point is to nominate a moderate like Kasich from Ohio.
I think he could hold most of the Pub votes and capture a lot of the moderate Dem voters who want to see social progress but who want some fiscal restraints applied by the next administration.

He's tapped into the conservative base anger. He'll fight the SJWs and the PC police and it's resonating with a portion of the right. Anyone who isn't currently on board, won't be on board. Trump is a sideshow distraction, but one that a guy like Scott Walker would be wise to notice. It seems pretty clear Ted Cruz is going to try and sweep up the Trump vote when he fades, but it's the vote a legitimate candidate like Scott Walker will need to win the nomination.
Just hope Trump doesn't sour all the mexicans on the GOP before he fades and all will be fine by Iowa.

Kasich will get the nomination imo. He is probably the most qualified in the group, and Hillary will be fricked in a debate with him. But that don't mean anything, because she is going to get the millennial, minority, and a large chunk of the women's vote no matter what happens.

Kasich isn't natural politick, like a Rubio and that will be his downfall. Would certainly fill out a Rubio headed ticket though.
If it's Bush that wins, Rubio as a VP and full court press Latinos to make up the woman's vote difference.
