He's tapped into the conservative base anger. He'll fight the SJWs and the PC police and it's resonating with a portion of the right. Anyone who isn't currently on board, won't be on board. Trump is a sideshow distraction, but one that a guy like Scott Walker would be wise to notice. It seems pretty clear Ted Cruz is going to try and sweep up the Trump vote when he fades, but it's the vote a legitimate candidate like Scott Walker will need to win the nomination.

Hes a plant and a side show distraction used to hype up and motivate the growing part of the Red color party who is anti establishment. He can say things the others guys cant and get away with it. Once he gets them pumped up and its time to bow out he will most likely endorse Jeb Bush or whomever the GOP wants to play puppet for 8 years for their interests. The next puppet in office will be of the red color for the purple binopoly.

Trump tends to go over the top a little, and maybe doesn't say things 'politically correctly' - but most of the shite he has been saying is true, he just puts it out there bluntly. People largely don't like the truth to begin with, and when you are slapped in the face with it they really don't like it. If they take it at all, it must be watered down and sugar coated.

Some shite needs to change, and it needs to change quick, and he's not afraid to say it.

For the sake of the Republican party, he best not get the nomination. He will never, I mean never, win a general election. He best not run as an independent, thereby splitting votes. I absolutely could not handle Clinton as President but it will happen if he's in the race in any fashion.

It may happen anyway. I have no faith in the Republican Party to nominate someone who can attract enough moderates/independents to win a general election. IF, and it's a big IF, they can stay away from social issues, they may have a chance.

This guy is a choice?

That's what the majority of people don't seem to stop and understand....Who's "CHOICE" is he?

Is he your choice? Did you put him in the ring?
Is he my choice? Did I put him in the ring?

The answer to both questions, is "NO"....we don't have a "choice" in the matter.

The "choices" are dictated to us by the rich and powerful. Therefore our "choices" are nothing more than puppets of those rich and powerful. And those "choices" have loyalties to the rich and powerful who put them there, not to us.

This is why nothing ever seems to change regardless of which party holds the White House. And it's why until this fact changes, we will continue to be led by "choices" that have no interest....ZERO...in what is good for the people of this country.

This is the Inconvenient Truth.

P.S. It is beyond gullible to believe that Trump is even the slightest bit anti-establishment. He's as establishment as a human being could possibly be.

Of course, he's not anti-establishment who ever said he or any candidate was? The difference might be that he has an option to manipulate matters in a way that more closely represents an American interest rather than in an international interest.

He's a billionaire 10 times over and probably has more Hispanic's on the payroll than all the other millionaire candidates combined.

Lincoln beat Douglas because he had an uncanny ability to connect with the common man not because he was a brilliant critical thinker as was Douglas.

And that's not going to happen. The majority of Americans also don't want another war in the fricking Middle East, but yet all these dumb fricks say they're ready to get "tough" on Isis. The only way the Republican Party will win is if they nominate someone like Jon huntsman. But we all know that won't happen because the fricking guy has the audacity to believe in science. That and he probably doesn't give a frick if two consenting adults who love each other choose to get married.

I can't see a Republican winning this election. The media fawning over Hilary has essentially made her bulletproof, and the Republicans just seem hellbent on parading around a bunch of waterheads, halfwits, and religious zealots. Of the candidates from the two major parties, the one I find the most refreshing is Bernie fricking Sanders, and I agree with him on NOTHING as far as fiscal/economic issues do; that's a mother fricking problem because I feel that I am not abnormal among white 30-something voters, as far as my political leanings go.

The only thing he has in common with his dad and brother are name and party.

Isn't that enough to preclude him from being a serious contender? His last name is as toxic as Fukushima, and he has absolutely no chance to excite anyone. If a moderately attractive third-party ticket (not even counting Trump) is presented, the Republicans may only win a couple of states.

What it really boils down to is that it doesn't matter who the Republicans run. Demographics aren't on their side, and the press has done a masterful job of convincing the populace that you have to be a straight white guy on Social Security to vote Republican. All this despite that the Republican field of candidates include a homosexual, a couple of hispanics, a few carnival barkers, a woman, and a black dude.
