Wonderful lady.
MState fan who lived by herself, drove herself, and watched college football every Saturday.
She lived through both World Wars, the Depression, Vietnam, the civil rights movement, and prohibition.
I don't usually post stuff like this but I have a serious case of the feels right now.

Sounds like she had a long, healthy life which is awesome. T&P to you and your family

Sorry for your loss man
It boggles my mind still that there are people alive today that were alive when WWI was going on.

Me too. Obviously she was too young to remember much of it.
When we all came in for her 100th birthday we got her to tell us about a lot. Her dad was a Prohibitionist preacher and had a bunch of attacks and death threats. She remembered one night her dad dragging her outside the middle of the night and passing out because the house had been gassed.
Her husband was a radio operator in WW2 and she got go go around the pacific and South America with him following the war.
She was in Biloxi during integration.
It was just two hours of stories and we didn't say hardly a thing.

Sorry for the loss of a loved one firstly and glad you had the chance to know her so well.
A $20 gold piece from 1912-13 holds a value today of $5,250 bucks. New Mexico and Arizona weren't even states yet when she was born or, had just been admitted depending on the month.
Such a fascinating life spanning from the age of the abacus into the space probe of Pluto's moons.

Condolences, big guy. Lots of blessings associated with a life like that, but still difficult to say goodbye.
