The EOLA is a great B&B if you want the real Natchez experience.

I recommend The Magnolia Grill (nice view of the river and good seafood) and Roux 61 (great char-grilled oysters) for eating out. Biscuits and Blues is good too.

The Visitors Center is pretty nice and you can arrange tours there.
You're right. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center's "Hate Map", there are only TWO (2) active chapters of the KKK in Mississippi. However, there are a ton of them in Alabama and Tennessee.

Hate Map
1. I'm Not an Angel - Halestorm
2. Texas Flood - Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble
3. Wild Side - Motley Crue
4. The More I See - Metallica
5. Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh
6. Der Kommissar - After the Fire
7. The Whole Enchilada - Keb' Mo'
8. The Troubles - U2
9. Down With the King - Run DMC
10. Criminal - Fiona Apple

"Whatever I vote is going to be my own personal choice based on how I feel. I don’t even know what the issues are. I haven’t paid attention to politics in a long time. It’s actually not something that I really even enjoy. It’s way off my radar," he added.

What a genius! He votes with his feelings.
Yes, this was a false flag created to lead you off the trail of what really happened. Think Philadelphia Experiment. Heh.
Look! It's the muddy swamp located in the Land Mass! I can see why y'all think it is so gross.

Dear Alaskholes,

Fly this.

Seriously, as a Mississippian I'm for changing the Mississippi flag but I couldn't care less about Alaska's weak attempt at being "noble" with their protest.

I'd argue that the root cause of this crime is practically unable to be easily addressed in a free society.

People hate. They act on hate.

And with the forgiveness by the church members, the left needed to keep the racial divisiveness going in another way. Presto! Attack a symbol you think your opponent won't surrender and make his lack of surrender a "re-murdering" of the innocents. They didn't count on acquiescence.

So, on to another cause and another symbol to keep the fight going.

If I could have given you a dump truck full of green arrows for that, I would have. Well said.

It's not just a right/left thing when it comes to this particular issue

Agreed. I'm a Republican (white). My irritation is that this subject is being brought up because of the actions of an evil, sociopath and the left choosing to make it a straw man.

And well, Republicans can't seem to keep their eyes on the ball. For once, I think it would be great if a Republican could have made it an issue for the sake of making things right and just, at another place and time, and not to react to the poking by the left.

Let me clarify for you.

The majority of voters voted to keep the existing flag design (The vote was 64% (488,630 votes) to 36% (267,812 votes)). I was in the minority of voters. I never said that the majority doesn't matter. I stand by the election process. I just disagree with the results from 14 years ago and would support another referendum.

The 1/3 population I referenced was the black demographics of Mississippi. I made the assumption that most of the offense is based on racial lines, but I don't assume that all those who voted for the new flag design were black.

Voter turnout in 2001 was about 50% of what it was when Obama was elected. So maybe there just weren't that many people who cared at all then. I wonder if that is the case now.

Yes. The last time it was put to the popular vote, I voted to change it and would again. When over one third of your population is offended or hurt by it, it needs to go. I don't care if people think a flag shouldn't be offensive. The fact is - IT IS.

How can Mississippi say that we have progressed in civil rights and then fly that flag? It goes farther than being embarrassing. It is about compassion. It is about healing. It is about humanity.

People who leave their shopping carts in a handicap parking spot. Lazy cocksuckers. I guess they think people who use a walker or a wheelchair will want to hop in one for a joy ride around the parking lot.

:dope:
As I am person that likes to deal with facts and not conspiracy or assumption, I thought to look to the Chick-Fil-A website for some data.

Because Chick-Fil-A is a privately held company, I couldn't find any annual report data detailing exactly how much money they spend in their advertising budget to gauge what their ROI might be. However, I did find some FAQs about the cow marketing campaign and the history. They explain why they chose Holstein cows, for example.

FAQs

Cow Campaign History

To the OP:

What part of their ads give you all the "racist feels"?

How is any demographic poorly represented in their restaurants?

What in your mind constitutes a failure by Chick-Fil-A?
Okaaaaaay. An eyewitness can tell you.
