I enjoy hearing the knowledgeable football opinions here on the SEC Rant.
Suppose you have been named head coach of your team and have to choose one of these as your defensive coordinator.
Whom do you choose, and any special reason why?

Well, since I get all my information from tRant, Chavis was a terrible DC with the best defense in the SEC, all because of talent. We are now stuck with 3rd and Chavis. LSU always wanted to fire him for Steele so they are getting want they want. Steele is the best. Am I right?

Chavis and it's not a question. A&M made the upgrade. LSU made the perceived downgrade. Time will tell, but my money is on Chavis. The guy's a winner and won at the highest level at multiple schools. There's no reason he can't do the same with the resources available to him in College Station.

The one who didn't let West Virginia put up 70 on his defense

Steele, after getting fired from his last two DC jobs, I just know he's going to have it figured out this time.

Chavis. He single handedly kept Miles from losing his job.

Throw orgeron in the mix to be fair. We don't get him with chavis.

Steele. I know Chavis. Soft defense in the middle that gives up 3rd down conversions far too much. 3rd down conversion is the most important stat for defense. Steele may or may not be as good, but it's worth the chance.

Chavis because Ive seen his defenses and their proven. I havent seen what Steele can do with our defense.
Was that too sane for yall?

You sound like you thought you had a choice.

Steele. I'd love to model my head coaching tenure after Dabo Swinney. LOLZ.
