I just don't buy into the LSU hype.

We all know the running game will be very good, as it always is. The passing game is still to be determined, but also very talented at WR.

If LSU wants to win the devision, they must make developmental strides on offense, especially being in the West. If Harris can develop and become the leader of that offense, then the ceiling is obviously very high. How did he look through Spring practice?

How an Aggie can say that with a straight face is hilarious

2014- LSU hung 491 yards on Aggie
2013- LSU hung 517 yards on Aggie

Here we go again. Nick Marshall shattered records, took us to the NC game blah blah, but Johnson is better? This is getting embarrassing.

Nope. had in mind Kent. And Rolen. Singular. Good guy. Worked with him at delta Air Lines in Baton Rouge then he transferred to Atlanta. He would be around 55 or 56 now.

While I'm not a fan of the Steele hire, the defense has been extremely salty this offseason
Makes sense, new coordinator and with the fire/energy Ed O brings.. I imagine the atmosphere around the D has changed drastically.

There are plenty of interesting factoids. My favorite is this:

In the last contest between LSU and TAMU, LSU piled up 384 yards rushing. Since TAMU entered the conference, in three games they have rushed for a COMBINED 353 yards against LSU.

Don't forget, though, that they had the worst defense in the history of the NCAA so LSU should have actually done better than that.

Don't reason with them. A&M is their superbowl. As long as they can hang their hat on beating us, the fans will be content with the state of the program.

Did you seriously miss his sarcasm? Also, if A&M is LSU's superbowl, you guys must be the Buffalo Bills.

Somehow I knew this thread would almost exclusively be Aggies.

As the noble Aggy fan pointed out to me,it's just the offseason and I understand that but it's in comparison to this point last season.

He said "any Defense" would look good against LSU's O. Obviously not.

Here is some honesty: there is no reason to believe LSU will beat Auburn other than home field advantage. It wouldn't shock me but.... No reason to think LSU will lose another of the first 8 games. I have nothing against State but wow they lost a lot.

Sell, 7-1 with a loss to either MSU, Auburn, or SC

Sell for sure. Miss State, Auburn, Florida and SC are all possible losses. I think we lose at least one of those. I am not sure any SEC team will be 8-0 this season.

Selling because I can easily see us dropping a game in September to MSU or Auburn.

I could see us sitting at 7-1 heading into November. We had better be, November has the potential to be brutal.
