Full Nike Uniform Unveiling is July 1. But the wordmark has been leaked and the basketball court in the practice facility already features it.
Numbers on all of our uniforms will apparently use this same font.
The old font for reference
An improvement, but that middle N looks out of place imo.

How do Tennessee fans feel about the change to Nike? Seems long overdue.
ETA: I like how all the letters look like the state. Makes it unique.

Yeah, this is definitely what they were going for.
I think most people are excited, but hard to judge too much until we see all the new unis.

I see what they are doing the T E and N form the shape of the state of Tennessee if you look at the the top of the letters. But I'd have to see it on an actual uni before I consider it good or bad.

I would bet we will get both.

Should be an upgrade as long as they keep it basic and respect tradition. They've done that with Alabama, so I see no reason why they wouldn't honor Tennessee the same.

Looks terrible, and I usually like Tennessee stuff.

I mean...it only kinda sorta looks like that, and you have to kind of squint to get it to look like the state.
I think it looks pretty bland, but they could have done worse I guess.

I was talking more about the letter shape compared to the state shape. Each letter tries to blend the two.

You probably think any logo in the shape of a parallelogram is paying homage to the great state of Tennessee.
I understand what they were going for. It still looks pretty blah overall. Do you like it?

If the parallelogram is part of the letters in the word "Tennessee," yeah that tends to be the first thing I associate it with.

I don't mind it. I don't think they were trying to break the internet or anything. it's a font FFS, it's not even on our home jerseys, and I don't think it should be on our away jerseys anyway.
