Good news... we hardly ever play in BR during the afternoon (2011 is the only one I can remember).

Me too, since I know it pisses LSU fans off.

Last time we played in the day time in BR, we got our asses massacred. Only time I recall seeing an Auburn team actually quit in the 3rd quarter.
That same team did it again in Athens though that year.

Damn, was really hoping for a night game for my first trip down there

I would prefer a night game, but it will be fun to watch the rantards bitch and moan about the game time.

As opposed to us winning at night?

Hmmm this might affect my decision to go to LSU instead of Arkansas this year

Anyone else slightly surprised our game was chosen instead of Ole Miss/Bama? I guess the rule than an SEC team can not be on CBS more than 5 times may have been a part of the reason. I count 7 of their match ups that could easily be on CBS. 3 are virtual locks: LSU, UGA, & us.

It looks like we will get the max CBS appearances as well. UGA will probably max out as well. They will have at least 4.

Not at all. CBS has always preferred two big six teams over one big six team and another contender.

IDK why exactly, but OM has become a media darling over the last two years. When Treadwell didn't 'Tread so well', and broke his leg, it was like ESPN went into mourning.

Ole Miss is far from a media darling
