I give it a couple of weeks before they claim the guy's girlfriend was really responsible for this just like Jalen Mills

I'm sure Miles will let his teammates decide his punishment.

Ugh no good. Apparently when it comes to DV, choking/strangulation at any time during a relationship is super bad. Something like 43 percent DV homicides come from strangulation -- most by far.

It's exceedingly hard to prosecute non-lethal strangulation as it doesn't always leave marks and so far the state regs haven't taken it as seriously as they need too.

HOWEVER, I hope both parties get help. While it's hard as hell, and too often rare, and I don't think couples with an established pattern should get back together. He is young enough to get a handle on his anger, imo and I hope he does.

That all said here are some sobering facts:
-----Strangulation is the most lethal form of DV. LINK

----According to the (Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2008) “the odds of becoming an attempted homicide increased by about seven-fold for women who had been strangled by their partner”

----More on the increased risk: NCBI Gov Linky (keep in mind this one is just a boring medical thing without much more info. unless you're subscriber or med nerd.

I can't imagine a situation in which the woman I commit to spending the rest of my life with will feel the need to pepper spray me.

I don't think I've ever witnessed a "quiet" offseason.
Unfortunately, this is the time of year when players from all of our schools will be castigated for their shenanigans.
It's not an indictment on LSU.

This domestic violence stuff tho ... smh.

He had too much bama in him. I wish Les would have just straight up released him
