SEC offices would work out nicely in Austin. SEC title game at Jerryworld.
I would love to see y'all try and squirm and wiggle your way into the sec. Only to find out that the votes keeping you out are from A&M and Arkansas. frick Texas.

We already have the Texas market with aTm, not to mention the many LSU/Arky fans in Texas as well.
If we were to add anyone, it would come from the Southeast...UNC/VT/UVA/NCSt...one of those

Kansas....
Trading one Yankee school for another.
Kansas and Missouri are so similar...nobody would know the difference.

your fantasy-fascination with Mizzou in the BIG is cute, but really, in the interest of your mental health you should stop this delusion before it goes any further.
this medical service announcement brought to you by MIZ-SEC

We'd kick out Arkansas as well and move on as a well improved conference.

OU isn't leaving without OSU. If Mizzou leaves it would be with KU.

Adding Texas would be interesting. I mean right now the SEC is the strongest conference in the country. How long would it take the Longhorns to screw things up? Not even the SEC is strong enough to resist the poison pill that is the Austin school for too long.
If we do have to replace Mizzou, and I hope we don't, the only answer can be the aptly named University of the South itself, Sewanee.
Its very highly rated for academics and it is a charter member of the SEC as well. We all know how important some folks consider being charter members here after all.

Duke/UNC is the dream scenario.
NC State/Virginia Tech would be a nice back up and probably more realistic.

Kentucky's coming with us? Really?

Our entire reason for joining would be to bring the tsunami of Arkansas SEC football championships to a halt once and for all.

If it's a cultural thing, NC State and Va Tech fit 10x better than the cacophony of Yankees that feed Duke and UNC.
That said, UNC is in the midst of a massive cheating scandal. Move them immediately to the SEC West.

can we take out ATM and Mizzou and add Texas and UNC/UVA?
I think the financial successes of two lesser teams shows other candidates that its not too bad in the SEC.

picking up a school from a small state where the SEC already has a team is useless for market share/revenue generating. It would be like adding ULM, or L'ville, or ga tech. All he media provides in those states already know they have to carry the SECN b/c of the dominant team in that state.
Picking up a team from NC, or VA or OK would make since for adding market share though.
