You can take the thug out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of the thug.

I say we let him back on the team and name him starter. Isn't that what Tennessee did with Janzen Jackson?

It's what Louisville did with Shaq Wiggins and Josh Harvey-Clemons and Auburn with Tray Matthews

False, we take the thugs out of the hood (Athens) and the hood out of the thug by turning them into model citizens

You don't have to draw a parallel to UT. Florida has plenty of examples of its own. Chris Rainey, Tony Joiner, Frankie Hammond, Gary Brown, Carlos Dunlap, Janoris Jenkins, Marquis Hannah, Cam Newton, Germaine Cunningham (he must have hated that Jimmy John's clerk), Ronnie Wilson, Dustin Doe, Avery Atkins, and Dwawayne Grace, among others.

Local television affiliate WINK News near Fort Myers, Fla., reported a shooting that took place on Christmas Eve in Immokalee, Fla.
According to the report, Florida freshman cornerback JC Jackson was sitting in a car along with West Virginia Jacky Marcellus and his brother Jackinson Marcellus when “one or two men walked up to the car and fired.”
Both Jackson and Jacky Marcellus walked away with minor injuries as bullets only grazed them. Unfortunately, Jackinson Marcellus took the brunt of the attack and was shot in the face. He is currently in critical condition at Lee Memorial Hospital.
Officers say that the car was parked outside of Crestview Apartments as the three men were visiting friends when the car was fired upon.
It’s been a rough few weeks for Jackson. In addition to the Christmas Eve shooting, the UF cornerback was involved in a legal incident on Dec. 13, when he and two other UF players — Treon Harris and Jalen Tabor — were pulled over by police for speeding.
Harris was charged with a second-degree misdemeanor for driving without a license. Police did find marijuana in the car, but because the vehicle did not belong to any of the players and no one admitted to owning the marijuana, no possession of marijuana charges were filed.
Jackson took a redshirt this year after shoulder surgery a few weeks into the season.

Didn't Tray get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the Spring Game yesterday after a pitch-and-catch interception in the endzone?
Is this a part of the Auburn Reform Model?
