They have been an 8, 12, 8, and 11 seed in those four years.
So that would be unacceptable at Bama ?

I'm saying it's basically the same as what he did while at Bama.

You've really been obsessed with Alabama basketball lately.

NC State is actually a pretty good program who's just been overshadowed in their state by two of the best college basketball programs ever. They've historically been the 3rd best program in the ACC only behind Duke and North Carolina. Basically, they're the college basketball version of Auburn football.

And you're keeping them in it.

NC has two national championships since 73, still remember that 74? national semi-final game that matched Bill Walton against David Thompson, Thompson was one of the greatest college players ever.

The Auburn fans here are turning into LSU fans - pathetically funny.

Hard to argue against someone that takes a program to the Sweet 16, 50% of the time.

Call us when he does it with your program. Until then, stfu.

He's a natural underachiever.

God Damn you are stupid, everyone is saying that is exactly what he was at Alabama before he burned out and started to decline. Is there an easier way to explain this to your dense arse?

All Alabama fans wanted Mark fired. All Bama fans are glad he is gone, and none want him back. For some reason this bothers AU fans, I don't understand why.
Mark is doing well at NCST, good for him. I hope he wins the title. Won't change my stance on him at Bama.

Interesting how some react when it's pointed out that the criteria they are looking for in a new coach, is something they had in their back pocket before they "ate their own". It is fun watching them dodge the fact that they fricked up twice. Firing MG to begin with, and not firing AG last year.

Pretty much everyone wanted AG fired last year.

Can't argue with an idiot! You are amazing! True AU representative.

He had seeds of 2,10,8,5,and 10 at Alabama. His conference record was 83-82. He made it out of the field of 32 once. That was as an 8 seed in 2004, getting to the elite eight. He's the exact same coach at NC State. Not sure what you're picking at here.

So he is doing much better at a mid-level program in a Conference superior to the SEC. What does that say about the Bama Program ? If he had gone to a School in C-USA and produced those numbers, you could argue that he wasn't ready for quality competition.

NC State is a better program in a region with more basketball talent. It's a better basketball conference and he has better basketball facilities at his disposal. If anything, he's probably squandering even more now.
