As an earlier poster said, I respect her moxie. It's nice to see young students who take pride in their school. So what if she pumped some bullshite out of a brochure about how great Mizzou is...she makes a lot better arguments than any of the chest thumping or deflecting bullshite that infests this website.

It does make me wonder, what is the mentality of someone that wants to write an opinion piece on something of which they have pretty limited knowledge. Every student paper has it, just never understood why someone would choose to do it, especially a female freshman.

The mentality of nearly every journalist on the planet. She clearly did no research or in any way lay out a coherent argument. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't spend more than 10 minutes on it. It was almost like it was a quickly made response thread on tRant

Yeah okay. so Tech, sewanee, and Tulane are not in the SEC. Also two of those are definitely not near as prestiges as the others. Bama and Tamu are basically on the same level as mizzou in academics but atm is a little above and Bama is a little below. Its not hard at all to get into Bama, yall have a good business program but most of the universities in the SEC do and mizzou has a fantastic medical program. But just about anyone could go to Bama. The fact that you dont have UF on this list just makes me whence at your credibility.
