Could we please get back on the topic of Malik instead of arguing with the irrelevant Mississippi state poster. Obviously his team would not accept any other 5 stars that Malik wants to bring. We are more than willing.

Very talented teams lose to lesser talented teams all the time in basketball, do you actually watch the sport?

If LSU beat UK would you not say UK has way more talent? How about if Ole Miss or aTm beat them?

The fact is we have 3 NBA players currently on our roster, you have 0.

Last time I checked we are both in the same conference as Kentucky.
Lsu chances at tourney:.1%
MSU chances at tourney:.01%
Neither team has a snowballs chance in hell of winning the tourney.

[quote]49% from the field is not anything to brag about. Not bad, but not great either.

This statement alone proves you don't know shite about basketball

If this happens then Newman is going to UK.

If the twins stay, he is going to LSU.

No reason to over think how this recruitment will go down.

To be fair, they probably don't know any more than anyone else at this point if they're not the Twins themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if they go but I think it really boils down to the word they get from NBA folks and how things go down in the NCAA tournament. I wouldn't hang my hat on anything this early, especially before Cal has his annual "sit down" with his guys at the end of the season and gives them the business.

I have never so badly wanted quality players from another team to stay another year.

It really doesn't have anything to do with the twins and has everything to do with Briscoe and Ullis. Malik wants to play point guard. Kentucky already has two starter caliber point guards. UK kind of dug their own grave with Malik when they took Briscoe.

It's LSU versus Kansas, with the potential for coach Cal to work his magic. MSU isn't a realistic contender. In the one-and-done setting that CBB is under right now, his father having attended MSU means nothing. LSU and Kansas will not only have the room at PG for him to come in and play immediately, but they are also tournament caliber teams right now and will be next year, whereas MSU will not be there yet as a program next year.

From what I'm reading on other sites is:

He wants to play pg. He can't do that here. I'd rather he go to LSU than Kansass.
