Not to mention getting in over clearly superior backs like Forte..
Yeldon will have a much better career in the NFL than Ingram did.

Yeldon is predicted to go in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. Drafttek is the highest at 48 (2nd). Walter's got him at 64 (2nd) and CBS at 77 (3rd).
There are two RBs predicted to go in the 1st round. Gordon and Gurley. Gurley is a risk but most have him in the first.

PJ Hill? Montee Ball (drafted in 2nd round)? Ron Dayne (drafted in 1st round)? James White (drafted in 4th round)? John Clay? Brian Calhoun (drafted in 3rd round)? What do they all have in common? They all DO suck, or DID suck, in the NFL. Busts galore.
Melvin Gordon is better than any of those guys. Dayne and Hill were Alvarez backs. Ball and White were the guys Bielema had to work with. Gordon is what he upgraded to.

I still wouldn't draft a running back in the 1st round, much less Melvin Gordon.
Also, do you remember how good of a college running back Montee Ball was?

Yeah, but I think that it was evident that he wasn't physical enough to be an every down RB in the NFL.

I hope the Steelers draft him in the 3rd to backup Bell.

Tj will do well in the NFL, see him going in the 3rd.

He looks like he's running in quick sand when he's on the field. His burst is very lacking, his lateral quickness is...not quick, and he looks like his vision is also pretty bad.

Did Ingram retire and I missed it?

well he just finished his 4th year and the shelf life of an NFL running back is not much greater than 4 years.
Ingram will sign a 1 or 2 year contract and probably retire from the NFL after he gets cut in 2017

I think there was some evidence seem this war where Ingram is a rb who needs a lot of touches to get going. He really just didn't fit the saints offense whatsoever and was a plot draft choice for them.
- really the idea of the saints reaching into the first round for any rb was/is a bad one.

Yeldon is too slow to the hole. He needs to make his money off his first contract, because there will not be a second. He needs to skip the Combine and just do Pro Day at Bama.

Will be with the Ravens or the Cowboys if the let Murray walk.

I could see Yeldon having success in Houston. He kinda fits the mold of Foster or Blue.
I don't think Yeldon is an every-down back at the next level though.

Probably another Bama Rb bust, the only reason Lacy has done so well is bitch he's from louisana!!!

He didn't really have too many "holes" to be quick to the past two years.
Anyway, your comment is incorrect, per usual.

Man I hope Ingram leaves the Saints. I mean really. You hate him because he played at Bama and stood on sidelines in BR cheering for Bama. You'll never admit it, but that's the truth. He was by FAR your best RB this year and would be next year if he resigns with the Saints.
I hope he goes to the Falcons and kicks the Saints teeth in twice a year.

Are you a psychic or is this just a wild guess?
Ingram just had his best year finishing 11th in the NFL. It doesn't sound like he's getting near retirement to anyone but you.
