My two biggest worries when we hired Gus.

Recruiting and Coach hiring.
He's had two straight Top 10 composite finishes and has been able to pretty much hire his first choice every time (That we know of anyways)

My biggest concerns were program stability, discipline on and off the field, and command on the football team.
I think all are too early to evaluate but I think I like the direction we are going.

My concern was 3-8
So far, so good

Still my concerns and all three are still at least moderately concerning.
That said, I'm about as confident as you can be in a coach outside of Urban or Saban, but those concerns do linger.

Hard to tell really. We missed on a few and I don't know if there was much competition for others. It is impressive that we haven't had any major hole that has been hard to fill
Misses
Rich Bisaccia
Herb Hand
Michael Barrow

Control of the football team and discipline was lacking last year. If the rumor about a player taking a swing at a coach was true, he should've been kicked off the team that second.

My biggest concern was back to back 10 win seasons. I guess we will see after 2016.

Just curious as to why you wouldn't count that as a miss. Do you think Horton is better, or is it just because he was in and out so quick.
I don't really know enough about coaches pedigrees, but I presume he might have fixed a few special teams issues from the last couple of years.

He was being mentioned as an interview candidate for NFL HC jobs at the time, and has been since. It was unbelievable we got him signed up in the first place.
This was not a miss at all.

Now this is my type of circlejerk. Huddle up tight boys, don't need any loose fluids slung at innocent bystanders.

Surely others wanted Muschamp.

I don't think missing on herb hand has been a bad thing for us at all... His OLs have been charmin soft at Vandy and penn st... they've really struggle to run the ball.
