Bama coaching controversy?

Just heard a few Finebaum blurbs about something going on between the Alabama coaches that translated into affecting the team performance. I didn't catch the whole segment but he said something to the effect it was the worse he'd heard for a very long time and it was something Saban will have to face up to and address. What I took from what he said was it was not something to do with anything relative to coaches' performance but rather, conflict between some of them.
First I've heard of it, is it true or Finebaum BS? Anybody know any details of what he's talking about? Enquiring minds want to know.

I'm not being a smart arse when I say that I literally give up on the post when I see this combination of words.

Just more Bama beating itself. Last year it was players, this year it was coaches. Had nothing to do with getting away from the run in the Ohio State game...
Guys like Finebaum love throwing out tantalizing hints that will never really be disclosed. Impossible to verify or deny and gets tongues wagging in the hopes he will say more.

Conflict on the Alabama coaching staff? I doubt-with sincerity-that there's any conflict. SABATRON5000 doesn't allow for that in his programming.

Saban did face up and address. Now the problems are on the LSU and AU staffs. Enjoy.

1st off Finebaum...don't care
2nd I know for a fact Steele didn't like Lance Thompson, but Kirby was very close to Lance, Saban kind of was a little opposed to bringing back Lance because of that, but he did it anyway for Kirby
Both coaches are now gone
Translation: SEC Offenses fuuuuuuccccccccccccced

I thought the biggest issue for Alabama this year was the secondary?
Sincere question, how does losing those two coaches help that issue?

I haven't a clue, we always lose a coach or two every year. IMO we had a team of over-achievers in 2014 ~ so some coach somewhere put a fire under their arse to produce, win the conference and come in as the #1 seed in the playoff.

The coaches took a rebuilding team to a conference championship and the playoffs. The locker room chemistry was the best this season that it has been under Saban, at least amongst the players. So the idea that this affected the team's performance is silly. If you really want some evidence for this theory, a better option would be to look at the fact that two position coaches left in two days. This could be an indicator of some disharmony, but the fact that both left for promotions kind of nixes that theory as well. Everything you hear on Finebaum, especially in the offseason, has to be taken with a rock-sized grain of salt.

Isn't Bama going to lose more production going into 2015 than 2014?

Our sites have been reporting some issues within the staff and it appears those two were asked to look around.
To be honest I think Saban saw change was needed and it was time to start parting ways and looking for a different direction for new blood on the staff. Both seem to land on their feet so everybody wins.
In regards to the field it seemed several position coaches did not live up to expectations on the defense.

I could see that. I just do not think coaching disharmony hurt this team. They won the SEC and made it to the playoffs. Not sure what angle Finebaum is playing except to gin up conversation.
