I could be wrong but I am really starting to think Keith Marshall will be 1b next season to Nick Chubb. Not that Sony Michel want be used but I think the medical redshirt for Marshall is going to be huge. Just wish they would have done the same to Rumph.

Alright. Sounds good. Do you have any reason why. I'd love for him to be his 2012 self but I'm skeptical right now. (although I fully acknowledge we used him terribly when we did use him this year).

For one, I think we have a 1b anymore. Just a 2. And secondly, I think Michel stays at two. I just think he's better.

1b is generous. There's Chubb, then someone else. Probably Sony at 2

Michel in all likelihood. He's better

This. I think that KM would be better suited to the slot or maybe some other way than just straight ahead...

I don't think there's a 1b. I believe we pound the rock with Chubb, use both Michel and Marshall in spelling Chubb with Marshall being more in sweep plays and Michel more between the tackles. Both will be used in the passing game. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Chubb and Marshall both in the backfield in shotgun and have Michel in the slot.

I just hope we use Michel the same way we did last year.

Marshall was way too heavy last year. That is often the case of guys who tear their acl. He was between 225-230 last year and more around 210-215 in 2012. Hopefully he drops a few and regains that 2012 form.

Me too. But change that to Marshall in the slot. Would give all sorts of headaches...

I would like to see us use marshall or Michel like the Rams used tavon Austin before all of his injuries. Put them in the slot make a slower defender try to guard them and create mismatches

Sorry, but Sony is a lock to be 1b barring injury.
And that's no slight to Marshall, Sony is just that good.

As tentative as Marshall was in his few appearances last year I do not hold out much hope for him being a contributing factor. I hope I am wrong.

you're wrong

Coach Richt stated their goal was to get Marshall's weigh down to get back his quickness. Barring injury we're looking at a great situation here.

This. There is Chubb and there is everyone else. Not saying Sony and/or Marshall aren't good and can't bring another wrinkle to the offense, but Chubb is THE guy and if we're going to get to the SECCG next year, he's the horse we're going to have to ride.

Michel is better in wvery aspect of the game.

I agree with those saying there is no 1b.
There is Chubb at 1.
Then there is Sony at 2a and (hopefully) Marshall at 2b.

I'm not sure why you guys think that Michel isn't 1b. He's every bit as talented as Chubb. True story.
