Well we know which one Bobo chose to do inside the 10 against the shitiest USCe team Spurrier has had. Keep pissing away East titles by losing to USCe and shitty UF teams.
Yes he did and got trashed for it. However, he learned from it and for the first time under Bobo they truly became a run first team.

I agree. This is the first year in a long time where I watched the offense carry the defense.
So the offense carried the defense when they scored a total of six touchdowns in four of their SEC games?

Yeah, Lane should stay committed to the run. Like Florida did against Georgia last season!
You are 100 percent right. When something is working you don't change it for no reason. It was working for the Gators and they stuck with it and won game.

so you know that means you won't post in this thread anymore, right?
No I will continue to post...unlike Kiffin I stick with what works.

Lane is not the problem. The defense that got carved up like a Christmas turkey by good QBs is what plagued us.
Quick question....if your defense is struggling and you're running the ball at will which of the following do you do:
A. Continue to run the ball and control clock.
B. Pass, Pass and Pass and piss away championship.
C. Leave the hot guy on the bench and forget he exist
I will hangup and listen

And if Kiffin leaves you will be saying the same thing I am BUT with Saban told him he needs to look for a new job.

Mizzou was #19 in scoring defense. What happened in that game?
ETA: UF was ranked #20 in scoring defense. Could you remind me how Kiffin's offense did against them?
Against Mizzou they did like Tennessee and came out fast and disappeared for a long stretch. In the fourth quarter, and with Shane Ray out, the defense was worn down from their really bad offense not being able to sustain drives.

Not making fun of a team but how a coach is perceived. Beat up on bad...struggle against good....Look at year at UT and people talk about the offenses improvement....15.2 in six losses and 41.4 in wins.

Wat. Miss St. is ranked #84. Auburn had a better defense.
23rd in scoring defense.

He would have won a Natty if the defense would have shown up in Nola.
Or if he would have ran the ball and controlled clock. Henry was dominating the game and he went away for 2 qtrs. Then, when he finally gets the ball to him again, he goes away from his strengths.
Anyone with a clue knows that Henry runs the ball too high and has slow feet....however....when he gets the ball with a head of steam and lead blocker on edges he is impossible to stop.....as he did earlier in game...what does Kiffin do.....starts running draws and such.
Yes he did a great job with Blake but could anyone in the nation did worse with Yeldon and Henry?
Lane Kiffin Still Fooling People

Year after year it happens....Kiffin's offense beats up on bad teams but they struggle against good teams.
This season Bama scored 6 touchdowns in Regulation against the top four defenses they faced:
Ole Miss - 1
Mississippi State 2
Arkansas - 2
LSU - 1
Against other teams, they got off to good starts but disappeared for long stretches. For example, against Tennessee they had 27 points in the first half but only seven points in the second half.
HOWEVER, because he is Lane Kiffin and because he is at Alabama, people praise him and forget the flaws. Coordinators like Mike Bobo and Rob Smith are passed up on being a Broyles Award finalist.
It is either a big play or nothing for Kiffin because he hates the running game and cannot sustain multiple long drives against decent teams.

All the UAB bustle highlighted a sad fact in College Football: There are a lot of teams that shouldn't be in the FBS. Either because the market/fan support isn't there, or the school doesn't put the effort or care into maintaining a competitive program. Below is the list of teams that I seriously feel should move down to FCS or Div II. This is not a troll. No SEC teams should, in my opinion.
I am assuming you meant teams with Paul Bryant Jr hell bent on destroying. Either that or you don't know the facts behind why they are no longer a program.

How cute.....you have one pic of a bad form tackle against one of the worse defenses in the SEC. I wanted to post Nick Chubbs but it want let me post that many pics.

Who will be 1b next season
Posted by DoverDawg on 1/15/15 at 1:23 am
I could be wrong but I am really starting to think Keith Marshall will be 1b next season to Nick Chubb. Not that Sony Michel want be used but I think the medical redshirt for Marshall is going to be huge. Just wish they would have done the same to Rumph.

I am not saying Fournette had a better season, I just think the talent is comparable.
The difference in states is due to 2 things
1) Chubbs made a better transition to college.
2) Chubb played in a better offense.
Do you think Chubb has the states he had last year if he played LSU against 8-9 boxes every carry?
Yes I do because he faced 8-9 in the box at times anyway. Again, Mason averaged 25 total yards more a game than Jennings. The bulk of UGA receivers missed multiple games. I watched every single game both teams played.....and seen every play both running backs played...the different in the skill set right now is big. Chubb averaged 2.5 more carries per game than LF.
Now watch the film and name me one spot LF is more talented from the running back position. It is okay being the second best back in the SEC and that is what LF will be next season.

Meh, I think Fournette took a little more time, but at the end of the season he was playing as well as Chubb.
I really feel like I am taking crazy pills....based on what games did he start playing as well as Chubb, Texas A&M and Notre Dame? The two games before that against Alabama and Arkansas he combined for 88 yards on 26 carries (3.4 YPC) He had two good games....against two bad teams.

How hard is it really for LSU fans......Hutson Mason averaged 25 more total yards a game than Anthony Jennings.
How good is Nick Chubb? Had 202 yds on 30 carries against Arkansas. Bama, LSU & Ole Miss combined for 165 yds on 97 carries against same D.
They have 4 common opponents.Against those 4 teams, Chubb had 83 carries for 672 yards and 6 TDs. Chubb also had 115 yards receiving and a TD. Fournette had 57 carries for 231 yards and 3 TDs. He had zero receptions"
And the talk of the tougher schedule is ridiculous. Perhaps LSU has slight edge in defenses played but very little. However, they have common opponents and it wasn't close.
Chubb is at least as strong of a runner as LF. I don't believe he is and we know Chubb is stronger in the weight room. LG is on record for squatting 600 pounds, benches 315, power-cleans 300. Chubb, on the other hand, Chubb set state records for bench press (365), power clean (390) and squat (700).
Weight room does not mean he runs harder but the film does. LF makes a nice hard run from time-to-time....Chubb does it almost every run.
Chubb has far better vision. Chubb has far better hands. Chubb has far better acceleration. Chubb has far better lateral agility.
Yes, LF can beat him in 100 meters. Fastest LF time I can find is 10.68 and NC 10.69.
LF is going to be a very good back but he is not Nick Chubb. I was on the field for the Notre Dame game. His two biggest plays he didn't even have a glove put on him.
Here is the truth....LF was such a physical freak in high school we never knew what kind of vision and agility. Because we only seen his strengths he was made the GOAT. Chubb dominated but played in a smaller division. People just didn't know if he could do it in the SEC.....he did.

The ignorance in this thread is impressively bad.
I have to agree. This is the most talent at wide receiver and running back that Mark Richt has had while at UGA. Moreover, the last time a UGA QB did not throw for 3,000 yards was Matthew Stafford's sophomore season (2007).
The only QB under Richt who was not highly successful was Joe Cox and he threw for 3,000+ yards and 29 touchdowns.
Mason will throw for 3,000+ and 25+ touchdowns

Aaron Murrays numbers are not a real indication. He had to stop going over 20 yards when his top 4 wide receivers went down.
