Based on the way the 2 teams played vs OSU it looks like they would have but how teams match up against each other can produce unpredictable results.

god know that defense was overrated as hell

Maybe. perhaps a better shot than against OSU. OSU had a legit line on both sides of the ball.

Yes, Bama would have beat Oregon. Very little doubt about it in my opinion.
Thought the 2 best defenses in the playoffs were Bama and OSU. Oregon and FSU defenses sucked.

I think that we would have beaten Oregon about as bad as OSU did.

OSU would probably be the underdog again and win by 3 TD's.

Depends on if Bama would have committed to the run like OSU did. If so, yes.

I think Bama could have beat the Oregon team I saw the other night. Oregon is nowhere near as phyiscal and I am increasingly impressed by Cardale Jones who I thought played better than Mariotta.
In a re-match, Bama wouldn't beat that OSU team again.

OSU was a very good team, but had Bama stayed committed to the run after taking lead 21-6, I don't know if OSU has the clock to win that game.

Hell, if Kiffin would have stuck to the run when Bama was down they would have won. tOSU had no answer for Henry/Yeldon.

Yep, Oregon is not quite ready for the really big boys yet.
Their supposedly more "physical" 2014 team only scored one more point than the 2010 version did against auburn.
And their "more physical" D allowed twice the points than against 2010 auburn.
Now, 2010 auburn is not nearly as good as 2014 OSU, but they were better than what Oregon was usd to playing at the time just like OSU was Monday night.
It's kinda like in boxing when a lightheavy tries to move up in class and takes on a heavyweight.

Probably. But OSU deserved it. Great rb and that qb is a hoss.

Oregon 45 Bama 35
Ohio St came out playing like garbage in the 1st quarter against Bama and made the game closer than it should have been
