seems the self described DL and DB U would have coordinators lining up to take over but they aren't.

Hey Sporky, it's not a matter of people not wanting the job. It's a matter of LSU coming to terms with the best available DC. Get back to us in November and tell us how you feel about the hire--after the Pig Roast in Baton Rouge.

The problem is there is so much interest in the position that Miles is taking his time to find the best candidate. this is a huge hire for him and his future at LSU. He isn't taking this lightly and is not going to rush it.
