9-3 going into the SEC play.
Ranked top 20 RPI as of 1/5/15
Beat #9 RPI/#19 AP team by a lot
Still not a single vote from the AP and only 4 from coaches (prolly us, Seton Hall, UK and UF)
Big game tomorrow at the Steg against Arkansas, a tourny bubble type team.
Shaping up to be a nice season with a potential dance invite.
Hoping to go at least 10-8 in conference play (assume 2 losses to Uk and 1 to UF)
Outside of Uk, decent road schedule (OM, AUB, MSST, LSU, Vandy, SCAR, TAMU, Bama) should win bolded and maybe 1 or two of the others
Go DAWGS BBALL!!

Dawgs are looking good. Tomorrow is huge. I will be at the Stege sitting courtside for this one.

The game is free for students so I would expect a large student contingent as well

Good analysis, IT.
I was a bit surprised that we didn't get any votes in the AP, but that will certainly come if we keep it up. No need to worry about that now I guess.
If we go 10-8 in conference we will make the field IMO. I think the SEC is a good bit better this year than the past couple seasons and could send five teams to the tournament (four seems most likely).
If we were to win those four bolded away games you listed and play well at home (say, 7-2 in home SEC games) we'd be looking at 20-10 overall and probably around an 8 seed in the big dance.
That's way down the line though. Beating Arkansas would be a great start to conference play.

I would like to go 12-6, because I think that secures us a tournament spot. If we get 10 wins in the regular season I think we would need to win at least one game in the conference tournament as well to make the NCAAs.
Just saw lunardi has us in at a 10 seed right now. A win tomorrow would definitely bump is up.

Well its a time to be excited for our shootyhoops and students just got back and the game is free. I'd be there for sure but with our students you never really know for sure.

Haven't seen where it's free, but first 1250 students get a free t-shirt

My senior year they started giving a free chick fil a sandwich to the first 1000 or so. So you basically got a chicken sandwich for 2 bucks and a free game of basketball with it.

They could give the first 1250 a free beer and the students still wouldnt show.

It is free for students, they haven't charged for a game yet.

If our students weren't the vapid titty-sucking basic bitches we suspect them to be, they'd show up en force tomorrow. Not very often you're going to find UGA Top 20 in the RPI playing a Top 25 ranked team at Stegeman. This is about as good as UGA basketball gets.

Often a free shirt as well and if you get lucky a nice Cane's coup. It was $2 for like $20 worth of shite. Theoretically, you could go grab chick fil a, a shirt, and the coup and just leave.
To the OP, no reason to assume loss to Florida. Terrible attitude for this program. Florida sucks this year.

I'll predict the students show up well tomorrow. Not as well as I'd like (this team deserves Stegeman full of loud and crazy students for this game), but they'll be a solid crowd.

Isn't there some program this season where you can upgrade from your upper level seats to empty lower bowl seats for free if they aren't filled at certain point in the 1st half?

We need to win this home game bad. Would really be a resume booster
