Does the TCU-Ole Miss game tarnish the playoff outcome?

Preface: Ole Miss is not as bad as they played today.

TCU just blew the doors off this playoff. TCU has shown they belong in the playoff. Alabama, Ohio state, Oregon and Florida state deserve to be in as well.

IMO this opens the door for some controversy. Congratulations TCU on your impressive win.

Is the playoff less meaningful to you if your team is not 1 of the 4?

If Ohio St. was to get blown out tomorrow I think it will. And this is bad for the SEC in the future. Any talk of two teams making it may be gone forever.

You're crazy if you think this game was a facade. TCU would beat ole miss by 30+ 9 times out of 10.

I'm really not trying to trash ole miss. But TCU could legit win the playoffs if they were in it. Ole Miss is just an average team right now.

No, since TCU didn't deserve to get in because they lost to Baylor. If Baylor stomps M-State and OSU sucks, then there might be a point.

All it does is prove 4 teams aren't enough for a playoff

There should have already been controversy. TCU got fricked after what a 52 point win for their last game of the season? OSU lost to VT so save the TCU lost to Baylor shite.

OSU will get blown out tomorrow and TCU might have actually put up a fight after watching this game today.

tOSU doesn't deserve to be in over TCU. The only reason they are in is because of the power of their brand and fanbase which is substantially larger than TCU's.

Most definitely. TCU could beat anyone. We need 8 team playoff next year. Congrats to TCU.

It will make the SEC look alot worse if Bama doesn't win it all now. Especially if they lose to OSU.

Unless the playoff winner dominates in both games, there will always be some question as to whether TCU is the best team in the nation.

re: OP

Absolutely it does....

TCU got jobbed, Wisconsin laid down for the conference. TCU could have beat Oregon, and then Bama or FSU.
