Some analyst on Finebaum today said that Ohio State's defense

is as good or better than anything Alabama has seen in the SEC. Are we buying that? How do we know how good Ohio State D is when they have played such a lousy schedule?

Based on that 1 game vs. Wisky, yes. But with all things in consideration, naw. Got beaten by one of the worst offensive teams in the FBS, VT.
Should be a good game, but this talk is a little absurd.

I think OSU's Dline is the best Bama has seen all year. Linebackers are ehh I think Bama has absolutely seen better backers this year, and the secondary is good not great.
OSU has 2 legit 1st rounders on the line in Bosa and Bennett.
LBers took a lot of bad angles in run support but fixed it against Wisky. I don't buy that all the problems are fixed from one game
Safeties are good run stoppers but take awful angles sometimes. Corners are good.

PF is just trying to build up OSU so it will look better when Bama beats them. OSU is garbage.

Bama has played 4 or 5 defenses that are as good or better

How can you say they are garbage? This is a solid football team with big-time talent and elite coaching.

Because if they say it now, and Bama wins big, they can say "of course OSU sucks." If OSU wins, they can say "Bama Sucks so bad"

It took them 2 OT's to beat a 6-6 Penn State and they lost to a 6-6 Va. Tech, while giving up 35pts at home.

We can debate whether State or LSU had better defenses than tOSU. I think they did. But tOSU is not even in the same conversation with Ole Miss' defense.

the defensive line might be the best but the secondary and linebackers are pretty damn meh

Ohio State went to overtime with Penn State. A team that had it's O-line blocking its own guys...
The reason was because Penn State's D is good, but not on the level of Alabama. Alabama should crush them. Add in the OC taking another job and it does not look good for the buckeyes.
