A player decommits and all fanbases say they'll find someone equal or better. It's just par for the course. No need to turn this into a Sims/Mett thread. Both LSU and Bama will be fine recruiting wise.

Actually it was an LSU fan that brought up Mett not an UA fan. UA fan commented on LSU's current offense and of course LSU had to defend by deflecting and going back a year.

So maybe question is there a way not to rustle the kitties in the swamp.

You mean Mett did not benefit from Beckham and Landry who were 1st and 2nd round draft picks? At least Mett had to legit options.

This board becomes more indistinguishable from the SEC Rant with each passing day.

So deflecting is saying that basically our entire offense from last year is in the NFL now, and doing quite well?

Thats just the facts.

Should our offense be as bad as it has been though? Absolutely not. But to say there wouldn't be a significant drop off is just unrealistic.

You cutoff the rest of my statement.

There is a big difference operating in an NFL offense making NFL throws like Mett did vs. Sims throwing a quick screen out to Cooper 5-6x a game and letting him get 100 yards+ doing that.

Gumps in this thread:

One decommit and y'all melt this hard? Can't wait for the full blown riots when Bama has a losing season

That's because people like Chattabamma get all of their self-esteem from sidewalking for UA. They can't have a legit conversation about sports without doing some sort of chest-thumping even though they have absolutely nothing to do with what happens on the field..

We are all just fans here..and yet some think the team they root for gives them some sort of elite status.

LSU fans have the crown for biggest melts. Alabama fans have the crown for acting superior about something they have nothing to do with.

As for Charlot, I hope he commits to LSU soon. We could use some help in this class.

yeah, this isn't something any Alabama fans will fret over. It's encouraging to hear that Alabama very much wanted Charlot. I say that out of respect to bama's ability to scout talent

Nice assumption. Not a sidewalker. Merely pointing out that we aren't sure why Charlot feels better about the direction of LSU's offense when Bama's has performed better under less than ideal circumstances. Am I not allowed to respond to someone who tries to refute my argument?

Maybe I was wrong to single you out but you must admit this board and EVERY SINGLE THREAD about LSU or Bama is filled with the sentiment I described. Gets a bit annoying after a while...

Probably Harris. We are just waiting to find out.

According to Andrew Bone, Daylon Charlot met with the Alabama coaching staff today and remains committed to the Tide.
