Sure. Texas A&M and Texas need to play because the fans would love it and it would be not just nationally televised but nationally watched.

Apparently your AD runs the whole show. Figured he could get this straight right quick and in a hurry.

Because your AD is boss?

Okay, all kidding aside, you really do not want to play in a bowl game? Seriously?

Best of luck on your finals.

Clemson-Carolina isn't a rivalry. Same goes for Auburn-Alabama and OSU-Michigan.

I'm not well versed in our other bowl options but I'd be disappointed if we end up in fricking Houston against a big 12 program

If I was the aggies I would be dying to play texas in a bowl this year. A&M could beat the longhorns this year and maybe that would be the kickstart to them playing each other again.

Really, and it would take away the sting of that last loss.

So much misinformation and BS.

A&M is not ducking tu. A&M did not contact the SEC officers and try to prevent a match up. 2 years ago tu did try to block a potential match up. It never materialized with the standings anyway. A&M offered to continue the series when we left for the SEC. tu had no room left. tu and co attempted a boycott of A&M. Both teams filled their schedules. That is about as much as there is too it. A&M plays LSU. tu plays TTU/TCU. End of story.

Ags haven't refused to play, it's just some conjecture from a hack reporter without basis.

2012 - the longhorns were avoiding playing the Ags. Fortunately for them, A&M won enough games so that they got to play the Big 12 conf champ in the Cotton Bowl. And horns rooted for their "arch rival" to win that game

If y'all don't understand Texas politics, that's fine. Just don't pretend that you do...
