Miss State and Auburn, what do your teams look like next year?

Both teams were near the top of the NCAA in returning experience this season, with large numbers of senior starters and in the 2-deep and lots or starts on the oline. Who do you lose and who replaces them? Teams near the bottom of returning experience going into this season include tennessee, missouri, lsu, and alabama.

Mississippi State returns pretty much everyone, from what I understand.

Even our seniors are staying.

Some key losses on O-Line, but will return most all skill positions. On D, we will lose Preston smith, Bmack, and Will redmond. 3 very tough guys to replace.

Return Kozan, lose Dismukes and Slade up front. So we will return 4 starters on the Oline. Lose Marshall, Bray, Uzomah, CAP, and possibly Coates and/or Williams at the skill spots.
Defense we lose Mincy, Whitehead, Therezie, Wright, Blackson and Bradley off the top of my head.

We lose a frickton honestly. 27 seniors on the roster I believe. Not all scholly players, but a lot.

And most of those are some of the shittiest players on the team too.

Who are auburn's top recruits coming in next year? I know about Jovon but I haven't followed recruiting much this year. TIA

Dak will after that Alabama performance I'm sure. JRob I'm less sure about. If he leaves, we have some great depth behind him, so production shouldn't drop too much. A more dangerous pass game, assuming that the OL drop off isn't too bad, should disguise a potential drop in talent here.
Big losses on O are: Day, Beckwith, and Clausell on the OL. This is what most concerns be, but if we can turn a walk on like Beckwith into the OL he is now, we should be alright. We also have a few JUCO's coming in to fill holes. Robert Johnson at WR, a good blocker and leader, but not super productive, have plenty of depth to replace him. Malcolm Johnson at TE, a great pass catching threat, but we have a good looking JUCO guy coming in who I think should lessen the blow, and Gus Walley is coming along pretty well too.
Big losses on D are: MLB McKinney and OLB Wells- while both are amazing, our LB depth is ridiculous, so I am not too worried here. DL's Preston Smith, Kaleb Eulls, and PJ Jones- all great players (esp Smith this year), but like LB we have insane depth here. DB's Jamerson Love and Justin Cox- Depth, and a top 5 safety prospect coming in should make this alright. Can't get too much worse, as this was our most glaring weakness this year.

Depends on how many juniors turn pro. I think we can overcome most of the seniors we lose. Marshall and CAP will be gone, but Jeremy Johnson is a much better passer and next year will be the most highly regarded group of running backs Auburn has had in a while assuming Jovon Robinson and Kerryon Johnson both sign.

I'm not sure that we have any guys that will come in and get significant playing time outside of Robinson.
I do think the offense will be good again, especially if Coates or Williams come back. Receiver will be iffy if they don't

Will probably end up at receiver.

Alabama is losing the following regular contributors:
Offense: OG Kounadjio, OT sheppard, OG Brown, TE Vogler, QB Sims, WR Cooper, WR White, WR Jones, RB Yeldon (probably)
Defense: NT Ivory, S Perry, S Williams, S Collins, LB Depriest,OLB Xavier Dickson, maybe DT Reed if he decides to chance it, slight chance Ragland goes, which would be a disaster for us
We are going to be a little thin at safety, going to be insane on the DL, LB should be good again if ragland stays, corners will be excellent. QB is a question mark again, OL is being rebuilt but mostly with superior talent so im optimistic and coker has looked pretty good in limited action so far. WR is taking an experience hit but we have tons of good young WRs and are getting the #1 WR in the 2015 class in Ridley. TE is meh, vogler never really turned into a dominant blocker or even a decent pass threat. RB will be fine as always

Bama will be an 11-12 win team as long as Saban is around.

quote:truth. since 2008 only went as low as 10 wins once (which is a shame because that 2010 squad was probably the greatest collection of talent on 1 team at alabama).

Auburn also has 4 players sitting out this year due to either injuries or transfers. Austin Golson is sitting out after transferring from Ole Miss and Tray Matthews is sitting out after transferring from Georgia. Carl Lawson and Alex Kozan are sitting out with injuries. Lawson, Kozan, and Matthews are all pretty much guaranteed to be starters next year as long as they stay healthy. Golson also could be a starter

Doubt Redmond leaves, he's only a junior and his draft stock is only getting higher right now.
