Question for Alabama fans

What would your thoughts be on playing in the SEC championship game and winning but then losing to Miss ST in a rematch in the playoffs? They would've made the playoffs without having to play in the SEC championship game just like Alabama in 2011.

Would bother me a bit, but it's been stated over and over again that the very scenario itself is definitely possible. So, I really got no room to complain when I've known since pretty much halfway through the season that it could happen.

The situation wouldn't bother me at all. I thought the idea was to have the 4 best teams. If Miss St is one of the four best teams then they should be in the playoffs!

I'd be pissed that we lost but congrats to State for winning the one that counts. $chit happens

We would be disapointed in losing a playoff game but not because of who beat us. MSU deserves the mulligan. We aren't pussys like corndog fans. We are not afraid to play the rematch like the coonasses were.

Some may think playing in the SECCG is a disadvantage, but I think the guaranteed playoff spot is worth the risk. I prefer Alabama's position of win and in to sweating it out at #4.

Hell....to be honest I think the best 2 or 3 teams are in the SEC so I wouldn't care if the playoffs were Alabama, Miss State, LSU, and Oregon/TCU/FSU/Ohio State

Wouldn't happen. They got off easy last time. But I'd love to beat them again as SEC Champs. Would welcome the match-up. Bama fans don't cry about things like that.

To be the best you have to beat the best. The best being the top 4 in the playoff spots.

LSU fans knew that they lucked out in Tuscaloosa that night (missed FGs and fumble at the goal line)and they knew what they had to face coming in N.O....but they couldn't do a thing about it.
