So are you some sort of B12 secret agent tying to sow seeds to make the Hogs think about rejoining that collection of arse clowns?

Personally, I thought the Big 12 would go after Arkansas and Louisville when Nebraska and Colorado left. Both were great geographic fits, and were on par in football and basketball. I don't understand why they didn't press Louisville, but for Arkansas (same as mizzou for SEC)it was about the $$$. The Big 12 did not have equal revenue sharing, with Texas and Oklahoma ruling the money pool.

It sucks that college sports have become about money. Arkansas would have been a great fit in the Big 12.

Take it up with Forbes Magazine as the new rankings aren't out yet.

They were "out" last year; which updates the claim.

Team profit is down some $8 million from 2011-12 thanks to the Razorbacks failing to make a bowl game last year while also bringing aboard a new coaching staff. Just to get Bielema released from his contract with Wisconsin, where he led the Badgers to three consecutive Rose Bowls, Arkansas had to pay $1 million.

Just because you beat a down LSU, doesn't mean you need to get rid of you linebackers. Damn you methheads are tough fanbase.

Yeah, not like we've won the west multiple times in football and been to multiple CWS in baseball or anything

Nope, nothing but basketball and track

If the death spiral of Arkansas is indicated by our football team, representing a not particularly large state, only made a profit of 32 million dollars last year and was only the 12th most valuable team in college football...

Well if this is a curse, then to quote Fiddler on the Roof: "May the Lord smite me with it. And may I never recover."

I often wonder if Arkansas would have stuck around the SWC had they known the XII was coming in a few years. Baylor would have been excluded and Arkansas might have been able to help balance some of tu's political stunts.

All in all, tu is on an island now and OU is stuck with them. And the State of Texas will make sure that tu is stuck with Tech, Baylor, and now TCU. Notice how tu went out of their way to add WVU and not Cougar High?

WVU will be the first school to leave the XII whenever they have an acceptable landing spot.

Arkansas, and eventually TAMU, had a successful divorce from tu. Why would either of us go back?

I love when Big 12 fans convince themselves that if they keep offering up a spot eventually Arky (and maybe LSU) will see the light.

Arkansas won't go back for the same reason Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, and Mizzou left......Texas.

At least in the SEC the power teams appear to care about the whole league and I think it is the same in the Pac 12 and Big Ten. Texas only cares about Texas.

Arkansas has never been in the Big 12. Arkansas has been in the SEC four years longer than the Big 12 has existed.

Big 12 is a dumpster fire. After Oklahoma and Texas, it's a bunch of misfits. Who'd want to join that?

Make much more sense if LSU along with A$M (go back) join the Big 12:

SEC has the SEC Network. Big 12 has the Longhorn Network.
