Suppose Kiffin leaves after this season, who do you think we realistically hire?

I know this is an offseason thread, but we're playing Western Carolina this week so whatever.
I do NOT think Kiffin is leaving. I think he'll be here for at least next year, and maybe even 2016 (be fun to play USCw with Kiffin running our O).
However, IF he were to leave after this season, who do you think we realistically hire?
I'm sure there are names we'd all LOVE to hire, but who do you think realistically would leave their current job or situation to be our OC? I imagine it'd have to be a pro style OC, but don't limit yourself to that if you think we'd hire a different kind of OC.

I honestly have no clue. Clay Helton maybe? He is USC's OC and he worked as Kiffin's OC

I would take McElwain in a heartbeat. Easy.

As OC? i don't think that is realistic considering he's getting hype as a HC candidate.

So the same Mcelwain that left the Alabama OC job to become a head coach, has exceeded expectations, but is going to come back to a coordinator spot at Alabama?

That's not realistic. He is a head coach and his record is currently 9-1 at CSU. He won't be fired and her certainly won't leave for an OC job

I'm hoping for Mike Tyson.
But on a serious note, beats me. I'm sure Saban will find someone, and that someone will have tons of talent to work with, and even if that someone isn't the best they will find some success.
Which reminds me, Nuss will likely be available.

People thought you were serious with that post. I know you would but I think they believe you thought it could happen. I chuckled

Shame on both of you.

If Alabama continues to play well, Kiffin will become a desired commodity. He does have a history of staying around for only a year. Lol, Tennessee.
I could easily see LK taking a head job at a Big 12 or PAC 12 school.
With that said, I could see Saban reaching into the West coast offense bank and taking a coach from there. Nuihisel does need to get back into coaching.

If we can somehow keep Kiffen through next year, I think we can then get Gus. You know Aubies only give coaches 2 years after successful seasons.
