This is a shocking fact to consider. 10 win average seasons are not the real story when you back out the the rent- a- wins. LSU football is at a cross roads with Miles. We need to go in a different direction or we are headed to a perennial middle of the pack program in the SEC.

So we should look at it that way for all the other coaches too, right?

ETA And we should also ignore our strength of schedule too, right?

Is now a good time to point out Florida rarely had to play Alabama. Need to get SEC out of Birmingham/Tuscaloosa so Florida doesn't get easier schedules.

muschamp lost to the rent a wins.

Look, muschamp went to the spread, which is want the fans want. It failed miserably. In 2012 he played les miles style football. in 2014 against uga, he played les miles style football. Maybe he should have stuck with running the fricking ball and hed still have his job.

or maybe he shouldnt act like a child on the sidelines.

well you see

the difference is that Muschamp couldn't even win the "rent-a-win" games

you mention "rent-a-wins" but leave out the fact that Mushchamp lost to Vandy and Georgia Southern

Miles is an average coach. This isn't news. I agree lsu needs a change but he will get at least 1 more year. If LSU is average again next year, he's got to go.

It's probably already been mentioned, but we play in the west so it's a little different story...

Florida was really good in 2012 and lost one conference game to UGA.

The last two have been very bad though, including losses to FCS teams.

Interesting stat but not exactly the same thing.

There is a huge difference in the sec west and sec east. In the last 11 years 8 sec west teams have played for the bcs title.those dont even count the good arky and a&m teams that were top 10 teams.

Lets breaks down your main point for a second.

2012 2013 2014 Total
Les 6-2 5-3 3-4 14-9
Muschamp 7-1 3-5 4-4 14-9

So that isn't a statement, that is a presumption, we haven't lost to Texas A&M yet. But say we do and they both have 10 losses.

Muschamp is in the East

Wins against Tenn, Vandy, Kentucky
Les 1
Muschamp 8

Record vs each other
Les up 2-3

OVERALL RECORD from 2012-2014

Les 27-11
Msuchamp 22-14
Assuming we lose, and Florida beast FSU and Eastern Kentucky

But what about the year you left out of Muschamp career?

LSU 13-1 8-1 in SEC
UF 7-6 3-5 in SEC

Wait who did Muschmamp beat in the SEC in 2011?
Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky

So how many of muschamp career 17 SEC wins are over Vanderbilt Tennessee, and Kentucky? 12

All the 10-Win Kool-Aid drinkers never want to talk about the losses and how they affected year end rankings - and post season play.
