The committees conspiracy has been unraveled by me, it is against Mississippi State and in so being, is also against the SEC overall, let me lay down the facts to prove it.
I have been trying to reconcile the committees reasonings behind a number of moves, and Jeff Long is being played.
All fans, and even Bama fans, will tell you that Bama controls its own destiny, so why worry about teams like Oregon being placed above Bama in the first poll, when Bama had the number 4 strength of schedule ( SOS ) and Oregon had the 16th SOS, and Bama lost to the, at the time the rankings came out, number 3 team on the road while Oregon lost to Arizona at home. Then why does TCU, with the 36th SOS jump Bama with the 4rth SOS ? And why does Oregon, with one loss, jump the defending national champion the week before the MSU vs. Bama game ?
It all fits a sneaky, biased, anti SEC agenda, if you read between the lines. These guys know if Bama wins out they are in, if they lose basically they are out (without many miracles ) so they are keeping Bama artificially low for these reasons.
1. If Bama had been placed above Oregon in the first week, which the numbers justify, then the rankings would now be 1. MSU 2. FSU 3. Bama 4. Oregon 5. TCU. Now if these were the actual rankings, as they should be, and Miss. St. loses an all time, exciting, close game at Bama, Miss. St. would be seen as a team with wins at LSU and vs. Auburn with a narrow loss at Bama, and deserving of number 3 or 4 at worst with Ole Miss. remaning for another possible bump. The committee can't allow for that possibility ( they remember Bama losing to Auburn and only falling to 3rd last year)
2. Now, why was Oregon over Bama ? discussed above, and that is the same reason TCU was moved ahead of Bama, now if MSU loses, they lost to number 5 not number 3 and they “have to of course move behind Bama” so they will “have to fall further” HELLO !!!! It is getting very obvious up in here.
3. Why does Oregon, who should be behind Bama, jump FSU the week before Bama vs. MSU ? BINGO, Because a close MSU loss would merit them falling below Bama but not staying above an undefeated Florida St. ( Oregon had injuries so “they jumped FSU on merits” LMAO), so once they get MSU to fourth, they can use the conference champion rule for both TCU and/or Baylor to jump Miss. St. in tha final poll, that is if they don't move them to 5th with a loss to Bama ( assuming a loss for discussions sake of course ), when in fact on merits a one loss MSU team, out of the SEC West, should never drop below a one loss PAC 12 Oregon. The Oregon jumping of FSU had a specific, intentional reason, and that was to make sure a close MSU loss to Bama didn't keep them in the top 3, and the committee has a built in excuse, FSU has won 26 in a row and are defending National Champions, you can't keep a 1 loss MSU team ahead of them.
MSU, if you lose this committee will not let you into the playoffs unless some other things happen, an FSU loss, both teams in the BIG12 have to lose, or an Oregon loss, if Bama loses to Auburn and you beat Ole Miss of course you are in the SECCG.
The conspiracy is against MSU and the SEC ( making sure the SEC gets only one team in the playoffs.)
This B.S. is why I was against a committee from day one, a loss by MSU on the road vs. Bama in the BCS days, would have kept MSU at number 3 most likely, and at worst 4 with basically no chance of getting jumped by a “conference champion”.
I think I have exposed the committee for the biased azz clowns they are.
Follow the money, these jealous azz clowns will do anything to keep the SEC from getting half the pie.
LIKE THIS BEACHES.

I didn't read every word as it was WAY long, but I got the gist of what you are saying.
I think that you are probably right. Good points.

Did this come to you in one of your visions?

No words to describe how stupid your post is. All that typing, for so little reasoning. That's an hour of your time you'll never get back.

I think it's pretty simple. If MSU loses a close game AT Bama, Bama goes to #1 having beaten #1. (FSU has already dropped below a 1 loss team)
If MSU then wins last two to finish 11-1 they will be in final four as their 1 loss will be the best loss of the one loss teams. Danny K would probably say the committee is trying to get two SECw teams in the final four.

Homerism aside, if the job of the committee is to identify the "best" team(s), why is BAMA #5 when we all know that we would be favored on a neutral field over all 4 in front of us. Shouldn't the #1 team be favored over everyone else on the list? And #2 over everyone but #1?
What am I missing here?
And, yes, I understand that betting lines are to get equal bets across both teams but #5 an 8.5 pt favorite over #1, really?

Wall of words is not even worthy of tl;dr.
Just no.
Just no.

Here's cliff notes of OP:
The committee are rigging the rankings such that either Mississippi State wins out and gets in, or if they lose, they can drop them far enough down to not let them.

I do agree it's about the money, and the money people don't want State in there. State is against the world now. Can't lose or will need help if we do.

what you typed is what SHOULD happen, no doubt. But the OP went thru the reasons why it WONT happen if MSU loses, and insinuated that all the position changes in the poll the last 2 weeks were BY DESIGN by the committee to SCREW YOUR TEAM...did u not read it?
