Utah Sugar Bowl. Killed me for the best season in over a decade to end like that. Seemed like such a wasted year, and I was afraid we wouldn't be able to replicate it.

Exactly. Same situation here.

When lutz (RIP) caught that pass in the endzone I went full butthurt and punched 2 holes in my closet door

Im surprised that no LSU fan has mentioned the 4 interception game in Auburn. Curly Hallmans finest.
I am STILL butthurt about Tommy MotherfrickING Hodson hitting that pass in the back of the end zone to win 7-6 in the earthquake game. I still hope he gets Ebola.

LSU sucked donkey nards in the Hallman era. Nothing from those years stands out.

i don't think I've ever been butthurt after a game before

This one really doesn't bug me that much. Building that big lead just to lose the game did sting a little. But, coming off of the 2012 season, I just wanted the team to show some improvement. The Kids responding the way they did in Malzahn's first season, those epic last minute wins, and making a run to the NCG was more than I could have hoped for. It was surreal. I can handle we didn't win it.

1971 Orange Bowl (Nat'l championship game) 38-6 loss to Nebraska. I was so upset that I went back to my hotel room, packed my bags and drove back to Tuscaloosa that night.
1973 Sugar Bowl (Nat'l championship game) 24-23 loss to Notre Dame. Sat thru a rain storm and a 30 degree drop in temperature to watch them lose at the end...cold, wet and dejected...terrible experience.

im butthurt after the cowboys loss to the skins last night.
murray fumbled at the skins 5 after a long gain, then we cant punch it in after another trip inside the 5 cause we throw the ball twice from the 3, THEN we throw 3 straight incomplete passes after murray got an 8 yard gain on first down on our possession in ot.
it might not be the most butthurt, but its the most recent butthurt.

Exact opposite. I have learned to realize its just a game as I have become an adult. When I was younger, I was like that girl from the ole miss video.

I think everyone agrees with this and overall it was still an incredible season.
However, the more you reflect on the game and all the ways we blew it/got unlucky and then when you think about how hard it is to get to that position it's really a shame to let one slip away like that.
Then to see Jimbo and Jameis act the way they have this year and to know we lost to those douches is the ultimate cherry on the butthurt cake.

Mine was both UK basketball games against John Wall and crew... Jobbed by officials twice... and it kept us out of the tourney as well

Lets see......
- drove to Fayetnam in 2006 (roughly 54 hours from Tuscaloosa) to see Lil Tiffin clank 2 short field goals and an extra point to lose in OT
- the next weekend drove to Gainesville to watch us lose a game to Florida like 16-6 or something awful
- a few weekends after that drove to Knoxville to watch us lose to tennessee 16-13, a game in which Simeon Castille picked a pass, was run out of bounds at the UT 5 and every Alabama fan around us casually discussed how we now would not score a TD. We didn't.
- a few weekends after that we lost at home to Sly Croom and State who hadn't won an SEC road game in like 3 years
- and of course we concluded that season with a loss to Auburn at home in a terrible game that nobody played well in but we found a way to lose.
So in conclusion I would say all of 2006.

I was so drunk, dejected and bitter after '98 Tennessee i don't really recall any emotion other than a numb, blankness. I don't think i left my house for a week. But i did, just in time to see us lose to a far inferior Miss St team on a last second FG (that was no good) because our team's heads, much like mine, was still up their asses.
And also, this year's A&M game because after 2 years i began to actually see progress and began to believe only to have it shoved right down my throat once again.
Shame on me for buying in...

I don't know why all the other UGA fans are saying 2012 SECCG. Yeah it was a tough loss to swallow, but it wasn't like last year's Auburn game, 1999 Jasper Sanks fumble that wasn't against Tech, 2008 letdown against Tech, 2009 AJ Green mystery celebration against LSU, or the losses to UK or Vandy in recent years.
The 2012 SECCG was a hell of a game. My jimmies weren't rustled at all.

My most butthurt post on here was after the loss to Ole Miss in 2012.
Text:
1. Mullen got out coached by a buck tooth evangelist from Independence, MS. This is basically like being beaten in chess by a cow.
2. Chris Wilson is awful. We need to make several coaching changes, and ask Brewster who he wants to bring in to help with the recruiting.
3. I predicted 8 wins on the regular season, but this still sucks and I am going to have to hear shite from my family about this game all year.
4. So it's looking like the Gator Bowl. Jacksonville is not a reward for fans. This is like thinking you are going to a good restaurant and being surprised with Olive Garden.
