... halftime of the SC vs UF women's soccer match (Gamecocks up 2-zip at the half).

What Herschel just said about Winston and Gurley, about him not voting for them for the Heisman because they do not uphold the ethical standards he himself sets for Heisman winners .... it needed to be said, by someone, finally.

Good for Herschel. He da man.

Bo Jackson is done with Winston too. He said on the Rome Show that he tried to give Winston some tough love advice earlier this year and it didn't go over well.

He's right. Regardless of how we may feel about players being allowed to make money off of their likenesses; until it's an allowable rule within the NCAA bylaws, they should be punished accordingly.

Watching SEC storied on him. Really good piece. Guy was a badass.

I remember him most as the guy who helped Cowboys build a dynasty after that trade with the Vikings.

Now would be a killer time for a post of the old pic of Herschel standing by his Trans Am with the T Tops off.

While I agree with Herschel in principle lumping Gurley in with Winston in terms of an ethics discussion is completely inappropriate. Gurley's family is poor and no doubt he made a compromising mistake in judgement. Winston on the other had is a criminal tPOS.

Herschel is a traitor... After all UGA gave him and made him what he is. He is jealous that Gurley will replace his spotlight as the Heisman running back. What a joke of a man.

I loved Walker but he is a hypocrite. Before Walker played his last year I met a man who was holding a $250,000 note payable from Walker that the man did not show as an asset on his financial statement for fear of NCAA investigations. Walker's mother got a house and swimming pool.

Herschel walker is one of the finest athletes and persons on the planet. high ethical standards is what this country needs; it is why this country became great. and no better an example than Herschel Walker. imo, he's the greatest.

Cliffs for this thread:

- Jameis Winston did more in his freshman season than Bo did in his Auburn career

- Herschel should be disowned by the University of Georgia

This thread contains amounts of stupid that this board hasn't seen since ATPB got whacked.

I'm a 65 year old UGA graduate.

Walker is a sanctimonious hypocrite who raked in many thousands of illegal dollars.

Gurley may have made a mistake but he has my total respect.

Free Gurley. Go Dawgs.
