I see the Spirit element of your fan base is already clinging to the Mullen is gone rumors 2010 style.

Both. Landmass is here to stay. Deal with it.

I see Ole Miss as more likely to get hit with the early entry bug. They have some top-end talent like Nkemdiche and Treadwell. I wouldn't expect those guys to stay in college much longer.
MSU's formula has been slower and steadier. They have built really solid lines out of 2 and 3 star players that some other programs overlooked (e.g., Preston Smith). I see this as a longer-term formula for success. The question for them is how much can they do without Dak? Should be interesting.

I really think the only job that could lure him away is Penn State. I don't think he was offered the job last year. But if Franklin got fired and they offered him I think you'd have to sweat a little. But Franklin is going to be at Penn State for a long time so that's not going to be an issue and Mullen may not even take the job if offered.

It makes me sad that we both went to Sewanee.

For the Ole Miss fans that hate MSU, they probably do. There's nothing wrong with that. It's a compliment to where he has that program.
For the Ole Miss fans that dislike MSU but enjoy seeing the success of MS, not really. I'd love for both to maintain success and the Egg Bowl to become a nationally known game.

Mullen burned all of his bags and luggage Saturday afternoon.
He has done this without a juco QB (Auburn and OM) and developed Dak Prescott from scratch. He's only gonna get better too..

A group of scientologists created Elijah Staley in a lab.

Bo Wallace barely qualifies as a JUCO QB.

I think the fake punt was a sandbag just to keep Auburn in the top 10.

Good point..
Not really it was fricking dumb.

He's been with Freeze for 4 years. His situation isn't your normal JUCO situation.

Why do you say this? Nothing more than usual from the same OM posters.
What are we jelly about?
Great season halfway through? Check
Undefeated? Check
Beat #1 team? Check
If you're basing it off y'all being #1 and us being #3, I'll take it. Rankings are opinions. Neither Ole Miss nor MSU can stick their chest out further. We are both having equally great seasons. And if you want to be real honest, Ole Miss is #1 and MSU is #3 if LSU had not been a preseason darling and sat at #8. Regardless, big time accomplishment and I'm happy for the MSU posters on this board. Landmass carrying the SEC this year

You shouldn't discredit your QBs accomplishments.

Saying Freeze hasn't developed Bo from scratch may be a stretch. Freeze definitely developed Bo at Arkansas State and Ole Miss.

Oh my God. Whatever dude. You know what I mean.
You pointing out that Marshall and Wallace were JUCO QBs is less about them going to JUCO and more about implying that they came ready-made for success and their coaches didn't have to develop them. Which, in Bo's case, just isn't true.
