What are the chances that UA and AU are ranked #1 an #2 after this weekend?

I'll go about 80%, but only because Oklahoma may pick up some votes.

I'll hang up and listen.

You think Bama can hang on to the 2nd spot after a loss to Ole Miss on the road?

Obviously if we lose to Ole Miss on the road, that would fall outside of the parameters of the OP's premise.

If OU falls to TCU and Auburn beats LSU by 10-17 points or more, it could happen.

They may be 1 and 2 when the IB rolls around. If they're unbeaten for the Iron Bowl, with the way things are shaping up around the country, they both deserve to get in to the playoffs. Sadly the committee wouldn't stick to actually ranking the 4 teams 1-4, they'd make sure Bama played Auburn in the semi final game instead of setting up a potential Iron Bowl National Championship Game.

Probably not high. Both could lose this weekend but even if they don't I can't see Auburn jumping that much

And probably save the planet by doing so

I want the shitfest that would be an Iron Bowl title game. ESPN and the NCAA should want it too. Ratings.

Honest answer - considering MSU took some of the luster off of LSU, and Florida State is playing a team that couldn't beat them if you spotted them 30 and ended the game at halftime, the odds are very low (and that's under the premise that both teams win).
