I respect KSU and Snyd and I'm sure Gus does too. Realistically, I think Auburn is 3 TDs better than KSU.
But it won't surprise me if it's tight. Hopefully we'll come in really focused and ready to make a solid statement. I don't think KSU can beat us playing at a high level, but I'm sure we'll get their best shot and any screw ups by us could make it really uncomfortable.

CBS is a great coach and a legend. His team will be well prepared and playing before a fired up home crowd on national TV. I expect a strong battle particularly in the first half.
I think AU gets the advantage in the 2nd half and pulls away. if it stays close late, I am gonna have a fluctuating sphincter though.
Should be hot there too. 90 deg in the day plus 81% humidity. Some rain possible, but no stiff dew expected.

Allbruns should win going away.

We see it," Snyder said on the Big 12 teleconference Monday. "It's not every week, but I think everybody in the country has moved into some phase of things that Auburn does."

With that in mind, Kansas State is probably more worried about Auburn's level of talent all over the field.
In Artis-Payne, Snyder sees a back who offers no drop-off from Tre Mason, working next to a quarterback in Marshall who is as dynamic as ever. Throw in the Tigers' depth at wide receiver and the offensive line, and the Wildcats' biggest problem is getting ready for Auburn's assembled talent.
"We don't have the personnel to work against that emulates the speed and the quickness and the strength and the size that they present," Snyder said. "I don't know (what's most difficult to defend). Take your pick."

I'd be worried about facing the Purple Wizard on a Thursday night. Just have a strange sense going into it.

but I'm sure coaches from around the SEC will be tuning in to see if he provides the blueprint for beating the power gimmick attack.

If Auburn beats K State, it won't be because K State wasn't prepared
Sure it will
AU's offense is predicated upon making sure the other team isn't ready, play in and play out.

Let's remember - he built K St up, then retired, they fell to the bottom, he came back and rebuilt them again.
Beat me to it. Kansas State was just awful for their entire previous history before he took the job the first time. Then he retired and K State returned to not quite their previous level of awfulness, but in the same neighborhood. Then he came back, and so did K State. He obviously knows something about coaching.
That said, I expect Auburn to romp.

I don't see much trouble for Auburn, might be close at half.

The homer in me wants to look at what Oregon did to Kstate in the Fiesta Bowl and what Baylor did to them year before last and feel pretty confident about this game. The other part feels extremely nervous about this game being on a Thursday night and the fact that it seems KState is so amped up for it. I think the crowd will be pumped and that is going to give them so MO imo...I really just don't know how to feel about this game.
