you have GOT to be an alter.
for being spineless and showing so much fear after one game. If you aren't al alter, you need to turn in every bit of houndstooth you have and start following maybe Southern Miss.

Holy Troll Batman!
Your name should be changed to 50% TU/50% Bama old timer
Obviously from post history you are a big TU supporter as well as a Bama fan. And that's ok but don't think that bringing your second favorite school into the SEC will do anything but ruin the SEC for everyone.

Would be great because then you could move Bama and Auburn to the east. Keep all rivalries in tact and the divisions would be evened out.
Awesome, just kick LSU out of the SEC.
Looks like you're not just scared of A&M.

OP. Idk why you're saying 2 states. This is all about the state of Texas. OU is NOTHING without the state of Texas for recruiting. They were a century long abortion of a program that will be left to fade into dust once Stoops is gone.
Also, The University of Texas is better than you. They look down on you, you redneck cousin fricking POS. The SEC is beneath them. No way they would allow themselves to be associated with those types of fans and schools. The PAC 12 is much more suited to their needs of elitism

this sounds right and I have not spent much time on their campus

How many of the 25 million can A&M take?

Which Sumlin would trade for Jamal Adams in a heartbeat
I wouldn't trade Garrett for a single player on the LSU roster. This time next year he might be the best defensive lineman in college football. In less than 30 snaps in his first game against two future NFL tackles, he had FIVE QB hurries, three hits and a "sack" (intentional grounding as he was tackling Thompson).

Whichever ones we want, and that's the point.
We are now what Texas was from 1999-2009 under Mack Brown, essentially having our pick of top players from Texas. Hell, LSU and Bama are providing more in-state recruiting competition than Texas and OU these days. Sumlin is something like 21-4 in head to heads against Texas since 2012.

Fournette is amazing, but we have three excellent running backs all with two more years of eligibility. Trading Garrett for Fournette would not be smart on our part.

Garrett is going to be a non lazy version of Clowney

The boat has already sailed on OU and Texas, just as it has for FSU. The common factor for new expansion is going to be the addition of new sizable markets. The SEC already have the Texas market and the Oklahoma market is not significant.
Without a championship game, it will be hard for a Big 12 team to get into championship game-just as a second SEC team. Without Texas A&M on their schedule, Texas is slipping into mediocrity and taking the whole conference with them.
A one loss Big12 team will have trouble getting into the Championship tournament over a Pac12, Big1, or a SEC one loss team of these conferences.

The longhorn leadership is a slimy bunch of lying back stabbing sobs.
That is why Nebraska, Colorado, and Missouri left the conference and OU was interested.
longhorn leadership lied to Aggies so many times that Loftin said fu and left a conference in which we had played many of the members for almost 100 years.
The truth is that the SEC already has the Texas TV market and adding another team from Texas will dilute the SEC network payout.
OU and OSU are joined at the hip, you take both or none. Oklahoma isn't a large TV market and would be a parasite in recruiting.
If you are worried about the Aggies the answer is to nut up and compete.

I'm not worried about the Aggies.
I agree though. "Nut up and compete."
That is what the SEC is all about.
Nut up and compete.
Very true stuff

Just about the most idiotic post I've seen in a while.
We need Texass & ZeroU in the conference to balance out the talent spread? Using that logic, the SEC better go get FreeStuffU & Miama so UF doesn't take control of the conference.
