We've seen LSU fans who more resemble Jekyll and Hyde in terms of the way the feel about Les Miles.

When he's winning big games and capitalizing on big gambles they love him.

When he's losing to teams like Ole Miss and getting drummed 21-0 by Alabama - they hate him and want him fired.

How do they react if they lose 5 games this year, but still manage to get the Bama monkey off their backs?

no. However, he will continue to be criticized until he wins another NC game.

MState logic cannot be applied to LSU.

Miles could go 14-0 this year and some of our fans would still call for him to be fired.

Alabama fans make the worst threads.

If you had to lose one game, would you rather it be to Bama or Hitler?

Who would you rather win the conference, Bama or Pol Pot?

Who was more of an American hero: the Bear, Midget Bear, or Benedict Arnold?

Trent Richardson, not an NFL bust.

Mark Ingram was hurt and now saints fans will love him: the 85th thread.

How much better is Javier Arenas than Devin Hester and Dante Hall being genetically recombined into one player?

If you had to give the Heisman to only one player on Bama's team, who would it be?

IF LSU is a 5 loss team but beats Alabama, Les will likely be more worried that his wife and children will be killed by some gumpdyke than any job-related matters.

I've predicted they lose 4 and beat Alabama. I'm with you on this.

Even with the NC's....you let Saban tank another late season or lose to AU 3 times and see what happens with the fanatical Gump fanbase.

Oh and ty for the space in your head.

Signed,
LSU

I think you're talking about a very miniscule segment of LSU fans who have wanted Miles fired.
Are you serious ??? Miles is the 2nd winningest coach in CFB in the last decade...

By your logic, allllllllllll LSU fans have loved Miles 95 times and hated him 24 times with no in between. That is not a very accurate demographic random sample - 100% of a population.

Though Miles is 3-5 vs Saban, all but 2 of those 8 games were extremely competitive and close or came down to the final minutes. Even in last year's game, the game was tied at 17-17 until the inevitable ususal shitty call against LSU (an absolutely phantom PI call) that gave Bama the momentum.

As for your question -
It is extremely doubtful that LSU will lose 5 games and beat Alabama in the same season. So your fantasy is without merit IMO.
In fact Miles has lost more than 3 games only TWO times in his 9 years in Baton Rouge.
In fact, I think it is much more plausible that Miles will lose 1 or 2 games but beat Alabama.

No because he's doing it with Saban's players. Haven't you heard?

Depends on if we get beat like a drum in those 5 losses and who those losses are against. Also have to factor in injuries. Just thinking logical here.

In 08, we were on a 4th qb at the end of the year. Not many SEC teams can win with their second let along third or fourth qb's.

Perilloux was going to be our started and got kicked off. Andrew Hatch, as QB from Harvard, got injured in the Auburn game and was replaced by RS FR Jarrett Lee. He played thru the Ole Miss game and was replaced by True Freshman Jordan Jefferson.

That's what happens when you have a large, diverse fan base - differences of opinion.
