I hate to admit this as a Bama fan but Bo is my favorite football player ever. He is the best athlete I have ever seen in my life and he is also a great person.

He is a hard guy not to like. No matter what team you pull for

Very nice guy. Got to meet him once. He is that type that actually seems like he enjoys meeting people.

Bo Jackson was Superman. His destruction of Brian Bosworth and the Seahags on MNF was jaw-dropping.

Where did Bo land on ESPNs Top 100 athletes of the 20th century?

Hated him at AU but loved to see him run in the NFL and everything he did in MLB. He just had that IT factor going.

The only thing Bo has done I didn't really like was his comment he made about black QB's in the SEC not getting fair chances. This was in the middle of Cam Newton's Heisman year. Other than that, yes, one of my all time favorites.

And he overcame that embarrassing stutter.

Love Bo Jackson but the '86 Cotton Bowl is obligatory... mainly because it's the first football game I attended where I was actually old enough to know what was going on.

Still, Bo was the man.

Cept he didn't know Didley (old reference)

Saw him play quite a bit of football, significantly less baseball, but enough to see that he was a special BB player. For those of you who saw him play alot of BB, if he had just played Major League ball, how good could he have been?
